Another book done, which means we are half-way through the series! That feels somewhat surreal to me.
What feels even more surreal is that it is kind of precisely a year since I joined Wattpad, a year since I started publishing Zoe. I wasn't sure what to expect when I did, it was all just for fun. But damn, during this year Wattpad has become a huge part of my life. I've gotten to interact with lovely people, read some amazing books, and gotten so much awesome feedback on my own books! Every time I log in and see I have comments to read, or notice someone has been binge reading, I get a big stupid grin plastered on my face.
To all of you that have joined me on my Wattpad journey, I'm deeply grateful for all of you! ❤️
Now we're taking a bit of a break from publishing again, but I will start again on the 12th of October with Mirai, the Witch of Sight. Mirai probably is my personal favorite. It was such a struggle to write the first draft, but I'm damn happy with how it turned out. It's a book that'll take you around the world, through different times, have you encountering powerful creatures, and deals with all different types of emotions with a heavy central theme. And maybe we'll run into one or two familiar faces 😉 It also happens to be the first time ever I've written a wlw-story.
Mirai, the Witch of Sight
Mirai comes from a long line of witches who have been particularly gifted in using their inner sight. As such, she's trained her sight from a young age. She's always been a disappointment, however, as the only thing she's ever been able to see is the vague image of a girl.
On her 18th birthday, Mirai discovers a mark on the back of her neck displaying the number thirty. From her first proper vision, she deduces that unless she finds the girl before the number reaches zero, both of them will die.
Only being able to depend on her less than mediocre skills in seeing the future, Mirai sets out to find the girl before the time is up. Little does she know of the trauma the girl has suffered, nor that finding her is only the beginning.
Stay blessed
Elena
