"Where are you going?" June asked Whimsy, catching her in the kitchen brewing coffee. She was surprised that Whimsy was already up early in the morning. Whimsy looked at June, who was still in her pajamas and yawning.

"I'm going to the park with Kk and Paige," Whimsy replied.

June raised an eyebrow, feeling a bit suspicious since Whimsy had been spending a lot of time with Paige lately. "You and Paige have been hanging out a lot," June commented, trying to sound casual.

Whimsy rolled her eyes, she could feel her cheeks are heating from that comment. It's true that they've been hanging out too much and that made her develop indescribable feelings that she only feels when Paige is around. "We are just friends, June. Besides, Kk is always with us too."

June smirked "Yeah, sure. Just friends" she said, emphasizing the word 'friends'.

Whimsy sighed as she poured the newly brewed coffee into a mug, "Whatever, June" she said, placing the mug on the table in front of June.

June laughed "Have fun, though. You should ask Paige to go out sometimes, just the two of you" she continued to teased Whimsy.

Whimsy looked at June, annoyed. Although deep down she liked the idea of just the two of them, her and Paige hanging out. "You never stop, do you?"

"No, seriously. Think about it" June said with a wink.

Whimsy shook her head "I'm off now, See you later"

As Whimsy walked out, June called out "Don't forget to wear your jacket! It's freezing out there"

Whimsy reached for her black puffer jacket on the coat rack near the door and put it on. As she walked to the park, June's advice echoed in her mind. Though the idea of asking Paige to go out with her was tempting, she didn't want to rush things. She was still figuring out her feelings. The only thing she was sure of at the moment was that she was happy when Paige was around.

When she arrived at the park, Whimsy spotted Paige and Kk having a conversation near the frozen lake. She approached them, and when Paige felt her presence, she instantly acknowledged her by a smile and hug by the waist.

"Hey there," Whimsy said, hugging Paige back. The brief contact sent a warm shiver down her spine. Kk cleared her throat, and that's when the two of them realized they were hugging a bit too long. 

"Hey there, Kk," Whimsy greeted, trying to play it cool.

Kk grinned "Come on guys, I didn't wake up early just to watch the two of you hug all day".

Whimsy immediately blushed and looked away. Paige looked at Whimsy whose cheeks were pinkish and chuckled.

"Stop teasing, Whimsy" Paige said and nudged Whimsy gently "Ignore her, you ready to have some fun?"
