"You guys kissed? What the hell?" Agatha exclaimed, her eyes wide with shock as I told her what happened last night. I had called her right after I woke up.

"Well... yes," I replied, the flashbacks of that moment playing in my mind.

"And you confessed?" Agatha pressed.

I nodded.

"What did she say?"

I sighed. "We were interrupted, and I didn't get the chance to talk to her after the party. Some of her friends were wasted, and she was a bit tipsy. They needed to get home."

Agatha shook her head. "Wow... that's... nevermind. So, what's your plan now?"

I shrugged. "I don't know. I guess I'll just have to wait until we can talk about it properly."

"And your other plan?" Agatha was talking about my plan to transfer to UConn.

"I already made up my mind, Agatha. I'm staying here for good."

Agatha looked disappointed when she heard my decision. "Are you really sure about this, Whimsy?"

I bit my lip. "Yes, it's not like I'm not choosing my dreams. I'll still pursue them in a different way."

Agatha forced a smile. "Alright, if this is what makes you happy, I'm here to support you," she said and ended the call. What was that? Is she mad at me?

I stared at my phone, feeling a little hurt. I could sense Agatha's disappointment about my decision. I sighed, wondering if I had really made the right choice. I tried calling her again, but she didn't pick up. I left her a message, hoping we could talk again.

Suddenly, I remembered Paige. We needed to talk, too. I clicked on her profile on Instagram and scrolled to our messages. I typed, "Hey Paige, can we talk?" and hit send, hoping she would agree.

As I waited for her reply, I started thinking about my future. I knew staying and starting a new life here could either give me opportunities or not. But in my heart, Paige was a good reason to stay. My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on my door.

"Come in!" I called. The door opened, and June stepped in with a smile.

"How are you? Any hangover?" she asked, walking towards me with a glass of warm milk.

I got up and accepted the glass. "Just a little headache, but I'm totally fine," I said, taking a sip.

June sat on the edge of my bed. "Did something happen between you and Paige?"

My lips parted "H-huh?" I tried laughing it off.

"I saw some comments on her post saying they saw her kissing someone outside the bar."

I blushed, quickly picking up my phone to confirm it. Sure enough, there were comments from Paige's fans.

"I just want to know if it's true," June pressed.
