"Finally, we can spend some real satisfactory time together without being in the midst of war, eh Foster?" Keefe absentmindedly twirled a stand of Sophie's hair and gazed into her eyes intently.
Against the beautiful background of the turquoise, glassy-like ocean and vibrant sunset, alongside Keefe and his paint-stained hands, everything seemed absolutely perfect and made Sophie feel like the luckiest girl in the world.
"Yes, I agree, "she replied, smiling happily.
'Everything is perfect at last,' Sophie thought, laying her head onto Keefe's shoulder lovingly and watching the sun disappear down the horizon.

After the last and final defeat of the Neverseen, Sophie and her friends finally could live like normal teenagers. They eventually grouped up into smaller groups, but they still sat as one big gang when they met up at Foxfire.
Grady and Edaline convinced Sophie to take some time off school and just relax. Eventually, she agreed and spent her days helping out in the pastures with them, tending to the animals- unless Keefe stopped by, which was very often.
Soon enough, Keefe managed to charm his way into Grady's heart and was allowed to spend time with Sophie whenever he wanted.
As for Biana and Dex, they spent quite a lot of time in Everglen together: Dex making Biana makeup and beautifying gadgets, and Biana giving him fashion advice and makeovers. They made quite the pair. Alden and Della started to treat Dex like a son, given the number of times he came over and stayed for dinner. They hadn't quite figured it out yet, but they didn't contradict anyone when they shipped them together.
Jumping to the topic of Tam and Rayni, well, you'd never guess, but they are the absolute best of friends, combining their shadow and light powers they create the best illusions, and trick countless people with them.
As for Wylie and Linh, they were a couple for a while but broke up recently. (More on that later)
Stina, Maruca, and Marella formed a coven. After Linh and Wylie broke up, and with no one much to spend her time with, Linh decided to join them, and they called themselves the Elementals (water, fire, plus empathy and psionipathy? Ask them, not me)
There was only one lonely soul left after this. And that was Fitz.
