10 | 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭?...

You take a soft look of your hot chocolate, and saw Onceler putting a lot of marshmallows in his hot chocolate making you chuckle and shaking your head. But here goes nothing... The question you have been waiting for him to answer. "Once, I have a question." You quietly tell him, looking at him with a neutral manner as he leaned on the kitchen counter and taking a sip. "Hm?" He raises an eyebrow.

"Why do you always go with the same lines as, 'Oh, I just slipped it out of my mouth', or 'Oh, I didn't get enough sleep last night that's why saying weird things!' Even if I know damn well that it's not true." You put a hand on your hip, raising an eyebrow and waiting for him to answer.

He kept quiet for a moment, smiling nervously as he laughs, "Because... It's true! I didn't get enough sleep and I'm saying things without thinking!" He puts down his mug of hot chocolate and laughing awkwardly. You walk towards him, and him backing away as you started to go near him.

"I'm not going to ask this once... Tell me, damn it!" You slam the kitchen counter making Onceler lose it and yell back, "Because I like you! I've loved you since highschool! Can't you see that?! Are you that blind to see that I actually give a damn about you and your feelings that's why I sneaked in your please just to see you again?!" He confesses to you unexpectedly, making you stand there, dumbfounded.

"...What?..." You managed to mutter out, but before you could even mutter out anything else, Onceler gave in and gave you a passionate kiss on the lips. (Omg, this is so cringe 😭)

You got startled, but a moment later, you finally got the hang of it and kissed him back, your arms around his shoulder, and his hands on your waist, enjoying the tender kiss you were having together.

You pull away, panting and looking at him with an embarrassed manner... It was so unexpected... So surreal.

"...Once, I'm sorry..." You say in a quiet tone, and him nodding and giving you a huge hug! Making you giggle and hug him back.

But while you were sharing this lively moment with him, your mother was watching this scene in front of her eyes since earlier.

"Ehem... You two, get a room." She says, chuckling and giving you a kiss on the cheek.

She then walks away from the two, making Onceler and you stare at each other, smiling. "Atleast we got each other, right?" He raises an eyebrow, getting his hot cocoa and sipping on it again, making you laugh and nod.

"Yes, yes, Once." You say, taking a sip of your own hot chocolate.
