Narrator's POV:
After a week or two, Y/N recovered.
To him, it seemed Alastor has just given up on making the deal with him. Which made him extremely relieved. However, what he didn't know was that Alastor was just planning to strike him with his weakness.
Alastor waited patiently until the time felt exactly right. He grinned as he thought of the exact moment he'd watch the horror on Y/N's face as the thought would settle into his mind.
There was not many things that Alastor could ever say he was "excited" for. This was a rare occasion. In fact, Alastor was ecstatic.
That morning, Lucifer sat in the hotel room he had reserved for himself.
Lucifer's POV:
"King of all this, yet one of the saddest among them" I chuckled slightly at my cringey comment.
I walked away from the window, the red tinted light leaving my face and instead hitting my back as I walked into my dimly lit hotel room.
I angled my head down to look at the floor as I paced the entire surface.
I had a gut feeling that something was going to happen today. It was sickening, and it wasn't good.
Being the King of Hell, I learned to always trust my intuition. I took a deep breath and exited my room, walking all the way down to the main area of the hotel.
Everyone was sat there, giggling, chatting, having the most fun a sinner could have, at least here at the hotel.
A sudden silence blanketed the room as I spoke "Can I talk to Vaggie and Charlie really quick?
Charlie looked a bit uneasy, noticing how tense the air had become. "Of course, dad!"
"Is your office okay, Charlie?" I asked her.
"Yeah!" She responded with a nervous smile.
The silence throughout the hallway was deafening. We walked up to the door of Charlie's office and I opened the door, the hinges gave a small creak as the door swung open.
Charlie sat down behind her desk, I could practically see her thoughts racing. Vaggie stood behind her, her usual stone-faced expression had been tainted with the slightest bit of curiosity.
I began to realize that maybe the way I had spoken hadn't been the most... Comforting.
I decided not to acknowledge it as I let out a breath and began to speak.
"Listen, I decided to talk to you today because I have a feeling that something might be wrong."
Charlie glanced at Vaggie nervously, before tracing her gaze back onto me.
"Any particular reason why?" Charlie asked, her voice quieter than usual.
I took a deep breath "I just.. I have a sickening feeling in my gut, something is going to go wrong today, and for some reason, I believe it could be involving Y/N. While this all sounds a bit drastic, as The King of Hell, I've learned on multiple occasions to trust my gut."
Charlie's eyes widened as I spoke, before softening again as she began to think.
"What would you like me to do?" Charlie said, still a bit uneasy.
"Just, keep an eye on Y/N, okay?" I said, maintaining eye contact with her
"Uhm- yeah! Yeah, we can do that! Right Vaggie?" She said, speaking quickly, nervously.
