The Day I Reincarnated (college started recently, so new chapters when I can)

Chapter 4: The entrance exams

["So it seems like both Liz and I have surprised Rei and Yuka, because we have an aptitude for Fire, Water, Light, And Dark magic, So that means that Liz and I have passed partly the impossible by having more aptitudes than anyone else, Anyways Liz and I are finally twelve years old so that means we can go to the Phenix Academy."] "Hurry up Jason, we're going to be late for the entrance exams if you don't hurry up." ["I wake up sleepily, but the reason why it was hard for me to wake up was because I was up late studying for the written test"] "*Yawn* I'm up, I'm up." Jason said "Well then hurry up and get ready so we can go." said Liz. After getting ready they went a straight to the magic academy called Phenix Academy. "Well here we are, ready to take the test, Liz?" "Yeah, I trust Rei and Yuka's teachings, so I think we got this." Jason did a light chuckle at Liz's comment "Nice enthusiasm, yeah we do got this" after that they started their journey to the school, if they got in then they would have to stay in the dorms for four years to complete their courses

["We arrived in the town next over by using a teleporting device Haru set up back when he first created the mansion, and it took us straight to the town where Phenix Academy was."] "Wow, This town is so big." said Liz, "yeah it's kind of overwhelming." "I wonder if we'll pass the appraisal test." "I hope so, but don't forget there is a quiz and a skill test afterwards." "Yeah yeah, I know." ["We then made our way to the school, and let's just say, there was a super long line, just to do the magic appraisal."] "Wow, this is a super long line, do you think we'll still be able to get in." "Well, Liz, I don't think they're just going to stop the line somewhere ahead of us, and if they were to stop the line, it would probably be somewhere behind us." ["As soon as I said that, two people who looked like security guards put a rod behind us, indicating that, that is the end of the line."] "Woah, Jason, you were right." "Yeah well, I mean it's kind of obvious, they wouldn't just stop the line halfway through it, otherwise people would be mad, and probably either wouldn't care, or end up doing drastic mesures." "How did you become the smart twin?" ("Wouldn't you like to know.") ["An hour passed and we finally got to the front of the line, there was two booths, both having an appraisal crystal in them, the person running the stall told me to put my hand on the crystal, and so I did"] "hm, pretty average magic capabilities, but wow, you are able to use every kind of magic, well then congratulations, welcome to Phenix Academy, just go to class 2-B to take the quiz so we can determine what courses you should take for the four years you'll be with us."

["After I got in I waited by the front gate for Liz. After a couple of minutes Liz came walking up towards me."] "So uh, apparently I can use every kind of magic, though I almost didn't pass." "Why not?" "Well, let's just say, that I didn't train as hard as you did, so my magic is kind of weak." "Well Liz, at least you passed, that's what counts." "Thanks Jason, now let go take that quiz."

["We both then headed towards class 2-B"] "Alright everyone, I'll be handing all of you a piece of paper with some questions, please answer honestly so we may determine what courses you should take, while being here with us at Phenix Academy." Said one of the staff members as he handed out the quiz to everyone who was trying to get into the school ["After a couple of minutes, I completed the quiz and handed it in, I was then instructed to head towards the training area so they can see my magic skills, I looked back looking for Liz, and noticed that she was struggling on the quiz? I decided not to judge her, like the good twin brother I am, so I continued my way to the training area, once there, they asked me to use my strongest incantations of each type of magic I knew, and once I did, the judges were surprised that I was able to use four different types of magic, which would make sense, because not a lot of people can use four different types of magic"] "Mr. Zanders" said one of the staff, "yes ma'am?" "We'll inform you within a week to let you know if you passed, please sign this sheet to inform us where you would like us to send you the letter, and if you're going to be staying at the nearby Inn then please use that checkbox" "okay ma'am" ("hm, maybe Liz and I should stay at the Inn for the acceptance letter, I don't really feel like going back to Haru's mansion this soon") ["yeah yeah, I get that Haru's mansion is technically my home, and that he is technically my father in this life, but, like mentioned before, I'm not to comfortable calling him dad, unless I'm talking to him or someone else directly"]
