["It's been about a year since we last seen Zach and Sophia, and for some reason, both Liz and Kage, forgot all about them and that we were ever in the dungeon to begin with, however they do remember about the Mimic Spell, just not how they got it, and I completely forgot to go check out the church, so I decided to do so, before the new semester started the next day."] ("I'm finally going to check it out, though... I wonder what I'm going to find there?")
Jason then walked to the church that he wasn't able to enter before and he was finally able to enter past the front entrance ("It looks like a normal church, and there's even statues of all the gods on this world.") he looked around some more until he noticed something that caught his eye a statue of the goddess of the Catfolk, the people who are half-human, half-catbeast, but they have more human traits to them. ["Or what you call in our world, 'Neko.'"] ("Shouldn't this be Shia? But why is it just a little girl?") then he reads the plaque |"The Young Goddess of the Catfolk who was kidnapped and was never to be found."| ("what? But she was found wasn't she? If she wasn't... what exactly happened to Shia, and if that's the case, who made the Fairytale?") there were so many questions that was in Jason's head. "Excuse me, Sir, you look puzzled, is there anything I can help you with?" It was one of the sisters of the church, "Oh, um, no thanks." "Okay, well if you have any questions about the gods, please let me know." "Alright, thanks." ["I felt like I had to get out of there and find the answers myself, I needed to find a way to get ahold of Shia without having to put myself in danger... I mean that's how I normally seen her all those other times, my life was in danger for all the times I talked with her, or if it was something she didn't want me to see."] ("Oh I got it, what if I tried a prayer, maybe that'll work?") Jason then started to kneel in front of the statue of the young catfolk goddess, and put his hands together to start praying, but suddenly his heart started to hurt ("gah, why is my heart hurting? Did it start doing that because I started to pray?") "Excuse me young man, it's me again. Did you just try to pray to the catfolk's goddess?" Asked the sister of the church. "Uh, yeah." Jason said in slight pain. "Well I don't recommend doing that again." "Why not?" "I guess you don't know, but I guess that's fine. It's because, you can only pray to the god of your race." ("What kind of rule is that.") "which means you can only pray to the god of the humans, his name is Zan." "Uh, okay, thank you for telling me that." ("Wow, I really didn't know that, though it's kind of a dumb rule... wait a minute, what if I try speaking to Zan, maybe... never mind, I just realized that was a dumb idea, since all the other gods think Shia is dead... another dead end... unless I can find a catfolk member and asked them to do so for me, though I haven't seen a single beastperson since I was born in this world, are they rare or something?") ["I had so many questions, but I had to get through with school first, so I decided to rest up for the rest of that night and started my first lesson in Wind Magic, I wondered what could I learn about Wind Magic when I don't even have the aptitude for Wind Magic."]
The next day Classes for Jason and Liz has began "Good morning class, I'm Professor Kazuki, and as you all have noticed, our classes will take place outside, that's because Wind Magic needs to be free, it will not work indoors unless it's special circumstances, and I look to teaching you all. Now, Wind Magic is the basis for all types of Magic, for example, Fire Magic requires Wind Magic to thrive, otherwise there won't be any flames, similar to how that works, Water Magic is also affected by Wind Magic, as a Wind Element is a key factor to Water." And the rest of the class day, Professor Kazuki taught the class about who Wind Magic is a key factor to every other type of Magic, though only people with the Wind Magic aptitude, are the only ones who can harness it.
["I hate to admit it, but the first class of the semester was boring, heck even Liz fell asleep during it."] After the class Liz, Jason, and Kate all went to another dungeon to find more scrolls of Dark Magic, this next one was easier than the one they found Fyre in, but it was still dangerous, they eventually defeated the boss and opened the chest that spawned in, inside was a scroll that gave the user's to be able to cast a Shadow Ball, it was similar to a Fireball, except it wasn't made with Fire Magic, since Jason and Liz already know Fireball, they most likely won't use this spell. Another item in the chest was a strange looking device, Jason then uses appraisal, "apparently this item is supposed to give you the ability to locate someone, though it only works with allies and not random people." "That sounds like it could be useful." Said Liz. "Okay but what would be the point? If we were all lost in the same area, the device would be pretty much useless." Replied Kage. "Did you forget about friends and family? Because if we find them, then we won't be lost." "Oh yeah... that completely slipped my mind." "Hey Jason I feel like we're forgetting something." ("The fact that both you and Kage forgot about Sophia and Zach?") "Forget what?" As Jason asked that, they stepped on the teleport stone and left the dungeon. "I don't know, it just feels like we're forgetting something important." Liz continues to think as they were on their way back to the school, and as soon as they arrived at the school, the thought came to Liz's head, "Oh yeah, we were supposed to celebrate our birthday before the semester started!" Liz exclaimed ("now that I think about it, our birthday did pass, wow I guess all the dungeon exploring and figuring out Shia's past really crowded my mind, that I forgot we turned thirteen recently, and now that I think even more, I was thirteen when my parents passed away in my past life.") "Yeah I guess we did..." then a postman came running towards Liz and Jason. "An urgent letter for a Liz and Jason Zander's." Shocked, Liz and Jason both replied, "Uh, that's us." The postman then hands them the letter and then took off, "I guess I'll just leave you two, to that, uh, see ya." Kage then left. "Jason, I think we should read the letter." "Yeah."
