Chapter 7- The Pendant

Shivani finished speaking to her friend and went to the canteen to get something to eat.

Meanwhile Advait and his friends were discussing about her "I am surprised to know that she can laugh."

"She is unique, her way of communicating and much more is really interesting about her" said Shane.

"Indeed" Agreed Uday. "But what if she has a boyfriend ra maum? It'll be a gone case for you honestly"

"Even that's what I desperately want to know Bro. She does seem like she has a boyfriend but yea little amount of hope would do." Advait replied.

"You wait, We'll ask her indirectly somehow" Said Shane.

Shivani came back with 4 'modern bread' chocolate flavoured packets and gave it to them.

"How sweet of you to buy for ussss" exclaimed Uday.

"It's not free. You all owe me later" Shivani replied.

"Who else but her" Shane spoke loud.

The event was the next day. All the groups had completed their works for which they had been assigned. So since their jobs were done they all decided to talk more with eachother to know more about them. Shivani and their group also decided the same thing in fact, they were already friends but from then, they sure will be together till they graduate.

"So tell us about you" Said Uday to Shivani.

"If you ask anything in particular, then I'll be able to answer properly" She replied with a straight face.

"You have a boyfriend?" He, straight up, shamelessly, asked her directly by embarrassing his friends.

Shane smacked his forehead with his hand, listening to Uday's question. And Advait started questioning inside his head why this mf was still alive while his face clearly showed no hope with a sigh and was crying inside. Isn't he the one who said the word 'indirectly'  he thought.

"Why do I need to answer you such a question? Isn't that something personal?" She replied with a question sarcastically, knowing well that they will be her good friends who'll be the one to share more memories with, Because they already matched her vibe and passed her vibe check. She just wanted to see how Advait would react to that.... Advait's curiosity grew more and it was soo obvious on his face that Shivani clearly grasped what it meant.

"Because someone here is very desperate to know that" Replied Uday.

'This Mf is ready to die today' Spoke Advait to himself.

"I don't. I haven't found a man worthy enough for that. There's no point in making a boyfriend, it's just useless. And not everyone in this generation deserves love. I fall in love only with the intention of marrying and not to play around like others do." Shivani replied honestly because she knew that they'll ask "why" again so she replied in advance.

Advait felt butterflies,no... all the animals inside his stomach after listening to her. 'Maa bahu milgayi'(mom, i found your daughter-in-law) he thought in his mind, feeling his happiness flow like a waterfall.

"This guy also doesn't have a girlfriend from the day he was born" Uday shamelessly laughed and said pointing at Advait.

"Nobody asked" Shivani straight up said. [author pov-I know, This dude DOESN'T GIVE A SHIT]

All the 3 boys could feel some imaginary hands slapping their faces. But they are shameless.

"Mairey, moodtu irukamatiya da nee?" (F*cker, can't you shut up and sit?) Advait asked Uday.

They knew that Shivani was just being sarcastic, then they spoke really well with each other and got to know about each other more. They spoke for hours, they laughed. It was fun. But yet Advait and Shivani never spoke to each other directly, Uday and Shane spoke on behalf of him.

~Evening~

While Shivani was painting something, She got a call. It was Ankush. "Sigana?" (Shall we meet?)He asked. "Huu ba" (yes come) She replied. Ankush came and picked her up as usual, they straight went to Poonam's house, picked her up and went to eat momos from a shop where they regularly go.

Meanwhile, Advait, who came back from gym showered, got dressed and laid himself on his bed... looking at the ceiling he took out  the pendant he was wearing, in his hand and thought "Wish this wasn't broken".

Shivani, Ankush and Poonam were sitting and having momos, and Shivani spoke "You know the guy I told you both about? Advait?" ... "Yea" they both replied.

"When I was looking at him while he was busy with his work, I saw my pendant on his neck which I had lost. He was wearing it".
