Advait gasped, "ohhh shhh, how did she even get to know?"
Ankush: "Told you, she knows me too well... that's the problem"
Advait and Ankush went ahead and stood near a glass balustrade (glass railing) and spoke.
Advait, in a black turtleneck sweatshirt and black jeans, with a black watch, wearing Shivani's pendant leaned on the railing and spoke "Thanks Ankush, you were a good help. We must meet because I still owe you a drink"
Ankush: "Anytime buddy!, I'll let you know. So how's everything going?"
Advait told whatever happened so far, how Shivani lost her phone and how they asked her to make a new pendant in return for his favour.
"Damnnn... she must be really pissed, she doesn't like giving her pendant to anyone, but you have somehow succeeded.!!" Ankush replied.
"I know, but let's see... anyways Ankush, see you around" Advait gave a handshake with a hug, and left with Uday and Shane.
Ankush returned to the food court only to get beaten up by Shivani.
Immediately after Ankush arrived at the food court, Shivani climbed on him from his back and dragged him down to her height, holding his neck with her forearm.
"Come here you bastard, How do you know him?"
"Fine fine,.. I'll tell you, but first leave me" Ankush freed himself from her grip and told her everything that happened so far with Advait.
"Everything is fine... but not the fact that you actually sold me for a beer bottle!! How could you?" Shivani asked in a frustrated voice.
"Priorities" he stated."Alright let's talk about how you want to be killed, should I slit your throat, mix poison in your beer that he is going to give, Kidnap and throw you to the dogs or throw you on railway tracks? Choose" She gave options.
"Ahuuhh what did I do nowwww... I mean think about you.. Do you want to die single? That guy honestly likes you and why not go for it? You showed no interest in any guys so far,.. No no, ... NO guy has ever shown interest in you. Now he likes you, he even has your pendant. It's not that you gave him but he has found it on his own. Or may be that pendant was destined to go to him. SEE!!! If this is not destiny then what else? If this is how you are going to be, then you will die alone, not joking.""As if I care!!?? Does it matter? It's not at all destiny!! But by some coincidence, I can't take this seriously just because he found my pendant, Few years down the lane, it wouldn't matter at all and everything will sound funny in the future. This is just entertaining. On top of that, what he has is total infatuation and not love. This is not the age for me to bother about love and relationships like you. Someone like you who gets into a relationship just to get entertained won't understand the difference between infatuation and love and the seriousness of relationships. I can't do some trial and error stuff with feelings just to see if this relationship will actually workout. Ankush I don't know me yet, I don't know what I am., I don't know what exactly I want, Don't know where exactly my life is taking me... life is unclear with fogged paths, I need to clear it out and give clarity to myself by figuring out myself, understanding myself."
"But-" Ankush tried to interrupt.
"Only when you are able to love yourself, you'll be able to love someone else." she said by raising her hand to stop him from talking further.
"I can't trust the feeling he has for me. Our age is an age where things are unclear. I can't love him for fun or to get entertained. I can't trust him either, anything can happen in the middle. He is innocent but Does he deserve me? Or do I deserve him? Not sure. What if I am the problem? What if he loses his cheerful character, his smile, his laughs because of me? I can't Ankush. Understand. It's not about him, but it's about me.
