Chapter 11- Library

"On a corridor floor? Where?" Shivani questioned Uday.

"Yea, 2nd floor corridor. It was crowded there, on fresher's day. That's when he found it on the floor" Uday replied.

"Hmm... I see"

"Right, and also I don't think you asked this question just because you liked it but there's something that's making you curious. Now tell me what is that, that you want to know" Uday asked while meddling with books.

"Fine, let me get this straight. I want to know more about you guys since We talk to each other a lot, Should i consider you guys as my friends? " Shivani asked.

"Broskie you are already our friend and nothing's changing it. And since you asked about us, let me tell you. We were born and brought up here only and we completed our school and PU together, we have been friends since we were kids. And  we completed our PU in XX PU* College. Most of the time we stay together" Uday answered.

(*PU- 'Pre-University' basically 11th and 12th but in college version)

"Oh, that's nice then. Being friends with people for so long is really a lucky thing. I also wanted to ask this... why did you guys peep inside my class that day and looked at me when there are many girls. Like Why me? What happened exactly?" Shivani added to her question.

"May be because Advait has his eyes on you since the day he saw you. But to your knowledge, he never had a girlfriend."

"Eyes on me? What does he never had a girlfriend mean? So he thinks that I'll be his girlfriend in the future if that's what you are telling?" Shivani asked Uday. 

Shivani understood that Advait likes her and by the way he makes things obvious, but still she was afraid to believe that fact since it wasn't said and also men cannot be trusted easily as they can flip things saying that they never about anything that way and may pretend like they never know anything about it. That's what gave her trust issues. Who else but XY chromosomes?

"Heh? No, definitely that's not his intention but yes we can't tell u everything, you'll get to know on your own" Uday said assuring that he actually saved Advait from being in trouble caused by these guys.

"You all do some mischief nooo... then i'll dig your guys's grave and hold one funeral" Shivani furrowed her eyebrows and said.

Just as she finished saying that, Advait came back with snacks and they all ate together making fun about random things... This made Shivani feed these moments in her brain as a memory leaving a smile on her face.

~NEXT MORNING~

Shivani was at the library to search for her reference books of business economics. Her fingers ran through the edges of the books on the rack... while was looking for a particular book. After a great struggle she realised that the book was at a height which she couldn't reach. "What a pain" She thought while looking at the book.

Just as she was about to leave, she could see a hand with good veins, long fingers... gently taking the textbook out of the rack and handing it over to her. (How can even a hand be that majestic...) She turned around to look who it was, at some point she hoped that to be a particular person. Yes, Advait. It was him. She looked at his brown eyes gazing at her pupils deeply. She was so small compared to his size, just like the manhwa characters with broad backs.

He was shaking inside, but managed to act normal in front of her. Before the breeze with mild sun rays hit the two of them, She bowed and said thank you without making it obvious that her heart almost stopped working when she saw him standing so close to her. Advait was trembling and didn't speak a word, it was an act of service and Shivani genuinely addressed it.

All Shivani could do was brisk walk as fast as possible before the moment got awkward. Advait breathed heavily, keeping his hand on his heart and leaned on one of the book racks. It took a good 5 minutes for him to accept what just happened, he was stupefied. He held the pendant that he was wearing which gave him comfort. He smiled like a mad man looking at the window and wished to god that things like this to happen more every now and then.

He came back to the seat where he was sitting with Uday and Shane and sat. "Where's the book da?" Shane asked.

"Eh? What book? OHHH!! BOOK!!!!" Advait blabbered and ran to get the book which he was supposed to bring, but Man was lost when he saw Shivani. Advait brought the book and sat smiling to himself.

"Why the hell are you smiling?" Uday asked as if Advait got possessed by an imaginary demon.

Advait told whatever happened between Shivani and Him a few moments ago. "EYY EPUURRAA?" (hey how da!?) Shane asked, looking at Uday.

"Ennadhidhuu hmmm hmmm" (what's going onnnn) Uday said sarcastically with a taunting tone.

Advait couldn't stop thinking and was baffled.

"By the way., what happened to that faceless girl of yours who appears in your dream?" Uday questioned.

"She appeared in my dream yesterday, but this time she was wearing the pendant that I am wearing right now. How could that be possible? I feel like I know her, and am familiar with her but I am not able to remember her face the moment I wake up. I tried but... I don't know what's the mystery behind this pendant and that faceless girl in my dream. I honestly don't know where this is taking me. I don't even know who made this pendant but Why was she wearing it....!!!???" Advait tensed up while answering Uday.
