Jelyssa's Pov
"Great job girls!" Coach congratulates us. He gives us a quick little speech before we break apart from the huddle. We start our walk towards the locker room when all of a sudden I'm stopped by Rikea. "Sooo what's up with you and Kia's cousin friend? I saw ya'll looking at each other throughout the game."
I grab my towel and Gatorade before continuing to walk. Rikea follows besides me. "I don't know what you talking 'bout." She game a 'bitch please' look. I laughed and shook my head. "I don't. Ion even know shorty."
"Yea ok, whatever you say Lissa." Rikea said not believing me. I mean what I said was kinda true. I didn't really know her and there wasn't anything going on with us.
The only reason I was looking at her is because I realized she was the girl from the boba shop me and Ryken went to the other day.

We made it to the locker room and I quickly changed into my sweats, grabbed my backpack and walked out. I was ready to take a shower and go home to see my baby boy.
I walked out the door to see Kia, her cousin, and the girl from the boba shop. The girl looked at me and slightly smiled. Kia looked back and waved me over. "Hey Cam you remember my teammate Jelyssa right?" Cam nodded and smiled.
"This is her friend Y/n."
"Hi" I said. The girl whose name I now know is Y/n mustered up a small hi also. Kia and her cousin Cam then walked over to the side and Kia gave her a box. Now it was just me and Y/n.
I was about to leave when she spoke up. "Um you played great tonight."
"Thank you." I looked down to see she had a Rikea Jackson jersey on. "You like basketball?" She looked down at her shirt, "Oh yea I've been watching it since i was a kid." I nodded being a little impressed.
"Well um it was nice seeing you again." She looked surprised but also a little happy that I recognized her. "How did you know it was me?"
I chuckled, "Ryken wouldn't stop talking about you and your daughter the whole ride home. And it's kinda hard to forget a pretty face like yours."
"Oh" she smiled. I could tell she was a little nervous. "We'll um I'll let you go now." She said.
"Bye Y/n. Have a goodnight." I smiled. She did the same, "Bye Jelyssa, you too."
I walked away from her and headed towards the exit. I hopped into my car and drove home.

I unlocked the front door and immediately heard little foot steps running towards me. "Mommy!"
I picked him up and sat him down on the countertop. "Wassup little man?" He showed me a smile with all his teeth showing. "I saw you on tv." I tickled his little tummy before my mom walked in. "Hey ma."
She came over and gave me a side hug. "Hey baby. You did great tonight. I was screaming at the tv and everything. I laughed, "Thank you momma."
She gave a small nod before walking over to the couch and grabbing her purse. "Welp I'm going home. I need some sleep."
"Okay. Say bye Ry Ry."
"Bye Gigi see you later." My momma walked back over to us and gave Rylen a kiss on his head before giving me one on my cheek. Me and mom walked over to the door. "Bye momma let me know when you get home."
"Okay I will and be nice to my grand baby okay." I scrunched my face up at her words. "Momma I don't be mean to him anyways."
"Mmhm." She rolled her eyes. She opened the door and walked out. I watched as she made it around the corner and closed the door.
I treaded over to the little boy, still sitting on the counter. "Alright lil man it's time for you to get in the bed."
He pouted. "I know I know but if you don't get sleep your grumpy and we don't got time for that." I picked him up before walking to his room. His door was already open so we walked in.
I placed Ryken on his bed, helping him get under the covers. "Alright goodnight. Love you."
"Love you too momma."
We did our handshake and I walked out, leaving his door cracked open some.
I walked into my room, instantly heading to my shower. I turned the hot water on and got in. It felt so good to be free of sweat and to be clean.
I stepped out and put on some lotion. I threw on a sports bra and some shorts before getting into bed. I didn't even bother turning the tv on because I was ready to sleep.
Not even five minutes later I was knocked out.
Tbh I don't know how to feel about this but it's whatever
