" Well if it isn't little miss L/n"

I lifted my head, immediately smiling as I saw Jelyssa. "Lyssa, what are you doing here!?" I rounded the desk, going to give her a hug.

She wrapped her arms around my waist, hugging me tightly, "Little man has an appointment." I then looked down at Ryken and he waved. I smiled and waved back. "Oh ok, we'll just fill this out and we'll you back." She nodded and took the clip board from my hands.

Once she was done filling it out, she handed it back to me. I gave her a smile and she returned it. She left and went to go sit back down.

I was looking over the schedule for today when my phone buzzed.

I know that it was just a simple compliment but it made me smile. Jelyssa and I have been taking things more seriously these past couple of weeks and our "relationship" was something special.

She would always send me little messages through the day or update me on what she was currently doing. Even though she hadn't asked me to be her girlfriend, I felt as if we were kinda basically there already.

Kaylee came from the back and called Ryken up. Jelyssa stood up and walked behind me. She sent me a smile as she walked past the counter and into the back.

My stomach churned and I bit my lip trying to hid the big smile that was forming. In the meantime, I checked more patients in as they came.

Right now, I was re-filling the goodie chest for the kids. As the kids were done, we'd let them come and pick out a prize out the chest. Their was candy, toys, coloring books, and snacks.

(I miss when my dentist did this)

"Excuse me."

I threw the bag away and turned around. Ryken was standing in the doorway. "Yes?" I questioned, slightly bending down.

"Mr. Robertson said I get a treat for doing good." My lips curled up into a grin. "Yea, of course. Come on, pick anything you'd like."

Ryken strolled over to the chest, crouching down. He waved his hand around, deciding on what to pick. He stopped before reaching down and grabbing a small paco of Oreos.

"Thank you Y/n!" He cheered. My heart warmed, "Your welcome."

I followed closely behind Lyssa and Ryken. "Bye Y/n" his little hand waved. "Bye, I'll see you later."

He did a small nod before ripping open his cookies. Jelyssa focused her attention on me. "I'll call you later, okay?"

I hummed, nodding slightly, "Yea, okay." Her hand landed on my waist and she leaned in, pecking my lips. "Bye."

I waved goodbye and treaded back to my desk. Just as turned around Mr. Robertson was leaning on the counter. "Seems like somebody got themselves a little playaaaa." He teased, dragging out the last word.

I playfully rolled my eyes and walked through the back and into my area. "Don't you have work to do? Why are you bothering me?"

Mr. Roberson took a Kit-Kat out of the treasure box, "You right, i'ma go but we are not done here."

I laughed and moved out the way so he could walk out. I sat back down in my chair, glancing at the time on the computer. I had thirty minutes left until my break.

I got bored so I decided to play Cool Math Games. I clicked on Papa's Cupcakeria. I loved playing these games as a kid.

I quickly switched to another tab as a customer came up to desk. I pulled up her file and repeated the price to her. She paid and I handed her the receipt.

"Have a nice day!"

"You to!" The old woman replied and headed out the door. My head fell onto the back of my chair. I was tired and I missed my baby. 

"Cool math games, really?" Kaylee mocked, peaking her head around the corner. My chair spun as I moved my feet to the right.

"What do you want?"

Kaylee giggled and walked in. "I'm kidding" she sighed, digging into the chest. "This is why I keep having to refill it. Everybody just be grabbing stuff from it."

"Don't act like you don't be taking stuff too!" She exclaimed. I looked to my left, side eyeing her. We bursted out laughing.

"Okayyyyy, no to much now. It was only like three times." I said.

Kaylee pursed her lips together, placing her hand on her hip. "Okay, whatever you say!" She chirped and waved before heading back to the back.

My phone dinged, so I spun back around and picked up my phone.

I tapped on her message, responding to it. I'm always down to try new spots.

"Hey! You wanna go to chipotle?"

"Yea." I looked at the time and saw that I only had ten minutes left until my break.

I helped one more customer before it was time for my break. Kaylee and I walked across the street to chipotle for break.

We sat outside and ate while talking. Kaylee and I have gotten closer over the past three weeks that I've been here. This dentist job was pretty good and I was loving it.
