Y/n POV

"Soooo yea, we're going on a date this Friday."

I pulled the phone away from ear as I could hear Cameron screaming into it. "Ugh, I'm so happy for you; you finally have someone to share the rest of your life with."

"Mmm, moving a bit fast don't you think. I don't know if we're gonna last that long and we're not even dating." I said, being realistic. I could hear Cameron scoff on the other side, "Don't play. Y'all are gonna be together for a lifetime. You just don't know it yet, but watch."

I shook my head, folding up Azzy's clothes and putting them in her drawer. "Whatever."

Cameron babbled on about this new scary movie she watched last night called Tarot.
(Watched it the other night, it was good, 7/10.)

"You should watch it. I liked it." She suggested. I hummed letting her know I would. I walked out of Azzy's room and into the kitchen. I grabbed the Frosted Flakes from the pantry, pouring some into a bowl then pouring the milk. I put two spoon fulls of sugar into my cereal, going to the kitchen island.

"Hold on girl, Azzy's school is calling me."

"Okay."

I hung up the phone call with Cameron, accepting the call from the school. "Hi, this is Ms. Y/l correct?" I swallowed the rest of my cereal, "Yes, this is she."

"Well your daughter Azareah says her stomach hurts and she has just threw up. Would you mind coming to get her?"

I hopped up from my seat, "No, I'll be there shortly thank you."

"Mhm." Our phone call was cut as I walked upstairs, slipping on my jacket and crocs. I grabbed my keys off the dresser, heading back downstairs and out the door.

I arrived at Azzy's school, locking the car doors as I walked towards the front of the school. I opened the door, signing in and making my way to Azzy's classroom. Her teacher noticed me and shuffled over to Azzy. She pointed towards me as Azzy turned her head around.

Azareah got up from her seat, stalking over to me, rubbing her eyes. Ms. Salem handed me her backpack. "Thank you." She smiled, "Feel better Azareah." We waved goodbye, heading towards the exit.

The receptionist wished us a good day. I strapped Azzy inside her car seat, throwing her backpack in the seat next to her. I closed her door, getting in the front seat. The engine roared as I started the car up. "Mommy, I no feel good." Azzy said lowly from the back.

I looked at her through the rear view mirror, "I know baby. Mommy will give you some medicine when we get home okay." She nodded her head and looked out the window. I spiked up the volume on the radio a bit.

*************************************************

I opened the door, letting Azzy walk in first. I sat her backpack down on the couch. "C'mere. Let me take your shoes off."

She walked over to me, leaning on the couch. "Alright, there you go. Let me give you some medicine." I strolled over to the kitchen, opening the pantry getting the medicine.

I motioned for her to coke over to me. I took the medicine, pouring some onto the spoon. "Here." She opened and I put the spoon in her mouth. I removed it, watching as her face scrunched up from the taste.

"Nasty. I don't like it." I chuckled, "Yea, we'll it's gonna help make you better. Now we needa go brush your teeth."

We trotted to the bathroom, brushing her teeth. I usually let her do it, but since she was feeling a bit down I did it myself.

We went back to the living room. "Wanna watch tv." Azzy nodded and sat down. I grabbed a cover and threw it over us. "What should we watch?"

She placed her finger on her chin, thinking. "Mmm Moana."

"Again?"

"Mhm." She said smiling. Nevertheless, I turned Moana on.

We watched the movie, laughing and singing along to the songs. She's made me watch this movie so much, I basically know it word for word.

The movie ended and Azareah wanted to watch more. We ended up having a movie night.

We were watching The Monster House and she surprisingly wasn't scared. We were all the part where the kids were now in the house. My phone dinged causing me to it.

Dress up for Friday. I'm taking you somewhere nice. Goodnight.

I hearted the message also replying with goodnight. I locked my phone, focusing my attention back onto the movie. It was still kinda early with it being seven thirty.

I got Azzy and I some snacks to hold us together till dinner. We continued watching the scary movie. Azzy suddenly got scared at the part where the house started walking.

I comforted her; she was good after that though. The rest of the movie was good.

Azzy layer on my side, cuddling closer to me. I turned on more movies, laughing and cuddling my baby girl.
