I'm not sure I want to know when my last breath is
Well may I would
When you greet me death
Will I shed tears?
Maybe for the things I've yet to accomplish?
Maybe for the safety in knowing it's finally over.
Grant me one last look at the beautiful sky
Maybe sit with me and have a drink,
You probably need a small break
From your eternal job
Sit with me,
Just for a second
Allow me a moment to weigh my own heart out
Against my own morals and hopes
Allow me to remember the good,
And find the love and best in the bad.
And if by some chance none of this is
I look forward to knowing another aspect of this journey.
I do have some many questions,
That maybe only you can answer.
It'd be nice to greet a friendly face,
