Love

I wonder

If I'm the sum

Of my trauma

My experiences

Or if I merely was always going to be this way

Feel this way

Feel the ups and downs

How can you love yourself

When your not sure what love even is

But I swear

I can feel my heart

In my chest

It beats

I feel it through out my body

So I should know what love is right

I cling to each beat

Like its the music of the universe

Slow and steady

Fast and irrational

How can I love

When theres always conditions

There love is never free

While mine is handed out morsel

By morsel

See the beauty of you

Like I see it

Your worth it

So why I'm under conditions

Will it ever be unconditional
