"Addie you know what would be a good idea? For your first night here Ems, we got to have a big start off." I grinned at Hades, he was practically jumping all over the furniture. Addie had a toothy grin plastered on her face. I watched her squeal and clap her hands loudly together. Soon I found Addie standing infront of me. She grabbed at my hands dragging me from my comfort spot on the couch.
"EMSSSSSSS please please. I can dress you up, do your makeup, oh the HAIRRRR. Please. I won't disappoint." Addie pouted, she tied her hair back and began to prance around the house gathering up things from different rooms. Finally after getting everything, she grabbed my wrist and dragged me up the spiral staircase. "Put this on." She shoved a black, skin tight lace halter top dress in my hands. I nodded my head and entered the side bathroom connecting to her very pink room. I studied the black dress, feeling the fabric between my fingers. I traced the edges of the dress as I admired it. Slipping it over my head, It had reached just above my knees. The left side held a slit going upwards, but not too much to suggest otherwise. The mirror in front of me fitted my image perfectly. The gold ridged ends met each other and stared at me. Pushing a strand of hair behind my ear, I gazed upon myself.
Was I truly this beautiful?
"Well the dress won't try on itself will it Em?" I heard Addie say mockingly, the sound of her newly manicured nails were hitting the top of her nightstand. I could hear the echo throughout her room. I sighed and opened the bathroom door, taking my first step in front of Addie. She didn't say a single word, instead she stared at me. I wasn't sure if it was in awe or if she wasn't happy with the choice.
"I know, it doesn't look that good on me--" I trailed, gazing behind Addie stood the two boys. Aristotle's gaze wondered to my eyes and stayed locked on. I watched Hades glance all over before stopping to look in my eyes. I began to feel on edge and grabbed ahold of myself. I then felt the soft embrace of my own arms clinging to the opposite side.
"No you look hot Ems" Hades shouted out giving his brother a soft punch to the arm. Addie turned her head and glared at her brothers. I practically seen the steam roll out her ears, then she looked back and me.
"Em, you look absolutely gorgeous. Please tell me you will wear it." She pleaded, me and her walked back through the bathroom and to her room. She took me to a rather large black vanity. The mirror was oval shaped. The edges of the mirror were pink, all curving different ways. Along side the edges were built in LED lights, they were bright white when turned on. Addie pulled out a white chair for me to sit on, as she gestured me to sit down.
"Let's get this makeup and hair done. Then after we will eat pizza and drink beer all night." She laughed, combing through my hair. Didn't take her long to finish. My hair was nearly bushed, while most of my hair laid flat on my head. Half was pulled up with a prefect bun, surrounded by small braids dangling down. She had set some hair decor along side braids. They were small circles with pearl like beads sat in the middle. I found myself playing with them as she grabbed her makeup out of her vanity drawers.
"Can I use mascara, and white sparkly eyeshadow for my inner corners of my eyes? I don't like to have too much makeup on. Makes me feel really clustered up."
"Yeah, of course! Here." She happily handed me the makeup and watched as I slowly began putting it on. I looked into the mirror after I finished. A small grin formed on my face.
"My my Ems will sure captivate the hearts of many." I glanced through the mirror to see who was behind me. Aristotle grinned, keeping only eye contact with me. He made me feel a bit nervous, I did wiggled a bit. Of course probably giving him the win over me. Behind him came Hades, he smacked Aristotle on the back and held his shoulder smirking at me.
"Are you guys ready?" Aristotle asked us, I nodded my head and looked over to find Addie in a simple halter dress. It was baby blue, this dress brought her eyes out a little bit more. She was beyond gorgeous.
"Yea, I think we are. Thank you for inviting me to the beach party. I know it must not be easy for a new person to be here."
"Nah we did it before, but really it isn't a problem. Mom wanted us to make you feel at home. Best way to start the summer is a party anyways." Hades replied, Aristotle turned and made his way downstairs. Hades followed not to far behind. I took one more glance at myself before I stood up to follow the boys. Sarah was sitting in the living room reading a book. Next to her was a small round table, her lamp stood right over her. She set her book down in her lap and looked at all of us as we made our way down.
"Going to the beach party I assume?" We all nodded in sync, I felt fidgety today. My nerves were on ten once I stepped into this house. I wasn't sure if they were good or bad. To me they all felt the same. "Please watch over your sister and Em. Whose driving?"
"Don't worry mom I'll make sure they don't get into trouble, I ordered us an uber. So we have a safe driver. Ten steps ahead of you already mom." Spoke Aristotle, he was checking his phone after responding. "Ubers here lets go."
"Please watch over Em, she's new I don't want her in any trouble."
