Movie Night

I brought the mugs of hot chocolate out into the sitting room. I gave one to Summer and kept one. I had sprinkled marshmallows in it. I went back to the kitchen and grabbed the bag of sweets we had bought earlier and went back to the couch. She immediately went for the Reese's big cup.

"Their my favorite candy..." She mumbled.

I smiled. I pressed play on the movie and grabbed a blanket. I draped it over her. She grinned up at me and I sat down next to her. She moved the blanket to where it covered me.

Halfway through the movie, I held her hand under the blanket. I didn't know what had come over me. She didn't seem to hate me because she just held my hand too.

After the movie ended, we cleaned up and walked upstairs. We walked into our shared room. She went to the closet first and changed. I went in and changed after her. Before she laid down, I grabbed her arm.

She turned around. I kissed her. I don't know why, it just felt right.... "Goodnight" I whispered.

She smiled and laid down in her bed. I laid in mine and fell asleep with a smile on my face.
