"why are you here?"

Author's POV
A knock on the door could be heard suddenly. Shadow snap out from his thoughts as he looks up from his palm not expecting a guest today, he stared at the door in confusion before taking a deep breath and stood up to open it

Shadow groans in annoyance that this could be one of rouge's friend and forgot to inform him. He turn the door handle open as he rub his shoulder from the stiffness

"Ugh..rouge isn't here, what do y-" shadow's eyes widen slightly, surprised on who is standing right infront of him. The blue hedgehog smiled at him fondly with his tail wagging from happiness

"Hey shads! Can l come in? I brought chili dogs and pizza with me!, knuckles is with rouge, tails is also busy so l'm bored, that's why l came here to see you instead!" he happily and playfully said, he walk pass him as he step into his house, making himself feel at home.

Shadow's POV
I was so surprised when he was Infront of my doorstep, l didn't expect to see him this early

"You're talking way too loud, lower your volume for chaos sake and l didn't say you can come in either" l spoke, making it clear that l don't want him here inside my house. I sigh in irritation and close the door behind him keeping an eye on his actions

"It's too early in the morning for you to be already bursting in through someone's place uninvited" l cross my arms as l continue to speak to him with an unamused expression on my face, does he had to come here? And what is the reason?

My eyes observe as he looks around the place before setting down the foods he brought on the dinner table with that annoying smile of his again

"And it's too early in the morning for you to be already complaining and arguing, l just wanna come by and thank you for yesterday" he responded, l raised a brow, not understanding what he meant by that, yesterday? Does he mean when l carried him back to his house? Or when l agreed to join him?

Sonic's POV
Look how confused he is, l chucked while sitting down on the couch and patted the spot besides me, gesturing him to sit down then smirk at him

"What a waste of time" the other hedgehog said

My heart started to speed up as l watch him slowly approaching to only sit down on the end of the couch and not the spot l patted on, that made me grin

"It's not a waste of time if you have food" l replied

Author's POV
The two hedgehog's silently started to eat the food the blue hedgehog brought for both of them, one of them took a glimpse when the other is not looking a few times and would awkwardly look away when they get caught.

The room gotten so silent that the only sound that could be heard was from their chewing and the plastic rustling

'why is he so quiet?' they both thought to themselves referring to each other
