Chapter 29. For U

Every person has some days as their favorite day, whether it is their birthday, the day they got married, or, for idols, the day they finally manage to debut after all their hard work. This was also the case for me. Other than my own birthday and the day of our debut and our first win, the birthday of the unnies was also very important to me because it meant that I could shower them with all of the love they deserved. There was one birthday in particular when I couldn't sleep.

Jahoon: I can't anymore...

I opened my eyes to see the ceiling in my dark room since it was late at night. I turned my head to see that it had just passed midnight a few minutes ago, meaning the special day had arrived. I bit the inside of my cheek trying too hard not to make a drastic decision but ended up doing it no matter what. I stood up from my bed, headed directly towards my door, and opened it, only to be surprised by Jiwon unnie standing on the other side.

Jahoon: Well, hello there birthday girl. Couldn't sleep?

Liz: Yes... and also... I wanted to sleep with you...

Even though it was dark, I could still see Jiwon unnie looking down in embarrassment and saw her cheeks and ears beginning to slightly become red. I couldn't help but chuckle at her. I grabbed her wrist and pulled her inside my room to her surprise before closing the door behind us and making her hop into bed with me.

Jahoon: Well you are just in luck because I was just about to go over to your room and ask if you wanted to sleep with me since I couldn't sleep either.

Liz: Well, how lucky.

Jiwon unnie chuckled and wrapped her arms around my waist as she pulled herself closer to me and snuggled into my chest. I wrapped my arms around her and placed a kiss on the top of her head.

Jahoon: By the way, before I forget and anyone else beats me to it: happy birthday unnie.

Liz: Thank you Hoonie but don't worry, I will always make sure that you are the first one to wish me a happy birthday no matter what.

I chuckled at her response but quickly stopped when I felt something soft against my lips. It was only after a few seconds that I realized that it was Jiwon unnie's lips. Before I could do anything, Jiwon unnie had already pulled away and hid her face back in my chest. Don't tell me what just happened was real... I mean... I kind of like it but... I couldn't believe it. I decided not to ask anything further and just fell asleep.

I woke up once again when I felt the sunshine on my face but when I opened my eyes, a gorgeous person was looking right back at me. The sun shone right behind her, making her glow up as a goddess.

Liz: Why are you looking at me with that wide on your smile? What makes you so happy early in the morning?

Jahoon: Well of course you, your dummy. Seeing your face every day is a blessing in itself and seeing you smile and be happy is on top of that the reason why I live.

Jiwon unnie's face turned from a smile to a flustered one when she slapped me on my shoulder and my stomach.

Liz: What is wrong with you?! When did you suddenly become this cheesy?...
