Being an idol it is mostly expected- actually scratch that, it is expected for them not to date anyone at all both by agency and by the fans. The image of your favorite idol being single and acting sweet and caring like your own boyfriend or girlfriend is what brings in the money for the agencies. That is why many agencies have dating bans to prevent their idols from dating anyone. The only problem with this is: that idols are humans as well. Just like everyone else, they fall in love. We all want to be loved and cared for and have a person that we want to love and care for as well. Yes, we have the love of fans but neither of us knows each other personally and will always be at each other's side no matter what happens. We are also humans. We also deserve to live freely but I knew that dream was going to be crushed sooner or later. But never this fast...
Jahoon: I never thought that the choreography would be this exhausting.
I flopped on the ground beside the girls with a deep sigh as they all giggled at me. I felt someone lifting my head up and placing it on their lap. I opened my eyes and glanced up to see Jiwon unnie smiling down. It was nearing the end of the year and just like always we had to attend an award show and not only that but also make a special performance of our songs and do special performances individually as well. This time I was the only one to have a special performance of my own: I had to do a dance stage all alone in front of every idol and fans. I have done a few stages alone before, but that was long ago.
Gaeul: If it's exhausting for you, imagine if it were us!
Rei: And you have the power of a horse so that is already much to say!
The girls cheered me on and continued to shower me with love to lift up my mood and spirit. It did actually work since somehow I found some renewable energy knowing that they had my back. We continued practicing for a while before calling it the end of the day. We all packed up and went outside to head home. I pulled Jiwon unnie to the side after we went home and into my bedroom. I pulled her into my bed as we both snuggled into each other. This was the only time during the day that we were able to be together alone.
Liz: How are you feeling? Still tired? You used a lot of energy today during the practice, it still amazes me how much energy there is in you.
Jahoon: To be honest, I thought the same thing. I always thought that I would collapse after the choreography was over but somehow, I still had the strength to continue on for one more moment. Maybe I got bit by a spider and somehow got super powers! Or perhaps I found my kryptonite!
Liz: And what would your kryptonite be?
Jahoon: You.
Jiwon unnie looked at me with a blank face for a moment before giving me a slap on my shoulder while rolling her eyes. It was always funny to see her reaction whenever I acted cheesy because she knew that it would come but never except that she could never guess what was coming.
Jahoon: By the way unnie, how about we go out tomorrow afternoon after our practice? Just the two of us? It has been a long time since we have been on a date. I know there isn't anything much open at the time but there is still much that we can do.
Liz: I would love that... but don't expect me to carry you in case of your battery getting drained out.
Jiwon unnie pointed at me with a stern finger and look on her face before we both ended up chuckling at it. But before I knew it, there wasn't much to laugh about.
