I couldn't believe anything that had happened at all. It still feels like a dream. I turned my head to the side and watched Jiwon unnie's beautiful profile. After we finished eating, we decided to stay a little at the beach to watch the sunset for a little while longer. The sunset shining on Jiwon unnie's face just made her look even more like a goddess than she already was. I only noticed that I had been staring at her for so long when I noticed Jiwon unnie waving her hand in front of my face with a beautiful smile on her face.
Liz: Anyone in there? Earth to Jahoon?
Jahoon: You look like a goddess...
Liz: You and your sudden outburst.
Jiwon unnie slapped me on my arm and turned her head away but I could still see a glimpse of her ears becoming bright red. I chuckled at her, wrapped my arms around her waist, and placed a kiss right on her cheek. She is just too cute not to tease.
Jahoon: You know that I'm only speaking the truth. You are too beautiful for this world and for my own eyes because I seem to get blinded every time that I look at you.
Jiwon unnie turned around and cupped my face with her hands.
Liz: I think we need to get you to the hospital and get checked out for diabetes or something because you have just become too sweet-tongued for a long time now. By the way, it is getting late so we better head home before we worry about any of the other girls.
Jahoon: You are right. We should better get home before it gets too dark or else we wouldn't hear the end of it.
We both packed up and went back to our manager who had been waiting for us to drive us home. Just before jumping into the car, I stopped Jiwon unnie by grabbing her arm, making her turn around to face me with a slight head tilt and confusion on her face.
Jahoon: An evil thought just came over my mind... What do you say if we keep our relationship a secret from the other girls?
Liz: Wait! Don't you want to tell the other girls about us? Don't tell me that you are feeling embarrassed by us being together?
Jahoon: No! NO! That is not the case... I mean just to tease them, to see how long it would take for them to find out that we are actually dating. Kind of like what people do when they get engaged and wait to see how long it would take their friends to notice the ring on their fingers.
Liz: Oh! Like that! I thought that you- never mind but that is actually a great idea. So there is something else other than cheesy lines in your head.
Jiwon unnie placed a kiss on my cheek and went inside the van. I smiled at her and watched her get inside, only to take a few minutes to register what she actually just said.
Jahoon: Hey!
I hopped inside and sat beside her before tickling her on the sides, making her giggle. I'm not that stupid... maybe sometimes but not much.
It took us a while since we were kind of like the outskirts of the city but eventually, we got back home to see that the rest of the girls hadn't still gotten to sleep yet. Everyone knew that this could only mean two things: Either we didn't have any schedule the next day which usually makes us stay up too late in the night just to relax or the other scenario is that one or more of us are gone and the rest of the girls are up awake because they are worried about the safety and well-being of the missing member. If I had to guess what today was, it was probably a mixture of both since I knew for sure that we didn't have any schedule tomorrow.
