Chapter 39. All or nothing

Liz: To Hawaii. I'm going to win Jahoon back no matter what it takes.

Yujin: Hold on a moment! Let's take a big step back! What do you mean by that? How do you know that Jahoon is going to be in Hawaii? And how do you even know that Jahoon is Alive? No one has found her yet.

Liz: Jahoon is really here. It was not our imagination. A few days ago when I went out for a walk alone, I saw our manager talk with Jahoon's manager. I managed to pry out pieces of information from her and found out that Jahoon had really tried to kill herself because of us.

Liz's words made the girls feel a sharp sting in their hearts. It was another reminder of everything that had happened but a new hope was filling in them. Jahoon was alive and this was a second chance from heaven for them to correct their wrongdoings.

Leeso: But how come we haven't seen or heard from her? How come no one has?

Liz: Because CEO-nim had tried everything to put a lid on this. Jahoon was flown here secretly to have surgery on her spinal cord since no one in Korea could do it. She did this so she could walk again!

Liz sat down and told the rest of the girls everything she knew and what Jahoon's manager told her. All of the girls listened with their ears wide open. The girls couldn't believe that Jahoon had to go through all of that alone but mostly they couldn't believe that CEO-nim would manipulate them like that. The way that he manipulated them into thinking that Jahoon had a chance to be more dead than alive. That she might never come back to them. Yujin knitted her eyebrows as she grew more confused. There was something that didn't sit correctly with her. Why would their CEO do anything like that? Also, what would he even get out of all of this?

Wonyoung: I won't stop you but what about our schedule?

Rei: Right! I support you in your decision but I don't think that manager oppa would be happy with you leaving just like this.

Yujin: Not if we all leave together.

All of the girls turned their heads to look at Yujin with shock. No one expected her to come up with that.

Gaeul: What exactly do you have in your mind?

Yujin: If Liz leaves alone then manager oppa will surely get angry at her and also there might be a big chance that Jahoon won't have anything to do with you but if we all go together then manager oppa has no choice but to accept our decisions and we might have a bigger chance to convince Jahoon to forgive us and come back to us so we can be complete again. Anyone who is against the idea?

Everyone looked at each other but there was already a headlocked decision between them. Without another word, the girls nodded and went to their own rooms to pack their bags. They may not become a favorite to their manager and CEO but it was for the greater.

Jahoon: Hawaii Hawaii! What a beautiful and amazing place. I have always wanted to visit here but I have never really gotten the chance for it.

Manager: Then let us make the most out of our first time here! I have made a long list of all the places that I want to visit ever since you said we are going to Hawaii.
