"you know you could tear me apart, put me back together and take my heart. I never thought that I could love this hard"
~ED. SHEERAN.
"THIS IS A DISASTER" Tessa yelled, throwing one of her shoes across her room. I flinched and turned to face her, leaving her drawers open.
"Calm down, Tessa, we'll find it" I said. "let's get dressed first, alright"
She pouted and nodded. "But... where could I've kept the lashes" she soliloquized. I shook my head and continued rummaging through the drawers to see if I'll find her fake lashes.
"I'll do your makeup first, then mine after"
"Ma.. what? Freak no! I ain't putting makeup on" I said, standing akimbo.
"Seriously?" She asked, sending me a deadpan look. I scratched my jaw and shrugged.
"I've never put on make up before and I don't want to end up looking like the joker" I said. Tessa giggled, hitting her laps.
"You won't look like the joker, Delia. You're too pretty to look like one and besides, I'm a good artist, you'll love your makeup when I'm done dolling you up" she said with a psychotic smile.
"Now you're just scaring me"
"Sorry " she said with a playful laugh. "come sit here" she said pointing to her desk.
"I don't want a flashy makeup, Tessy. Just mascara and lip gloss please" I said, holding my hand out.
"Just mascara and lipgloss" she agreed.
"Shouldn't I change into my dress first?" I asked in wonderment.
"Of course, yes. My bad, I forgot"
I rolled my eyes and turned my back to her with a smirk. I opened my backpack and brought out a mini jean skirt and brown hoodie. "Tis' okay, right?"
Tessa smiley face morphed into horror "you can't be serious!" She yelled. "You told me you brought the best dress"
"This is the best for me tho" I innocently said.
"Best my fucking ass, i—"
"Stop cussing" I mumbled. Tessa nose flared as she squinted her eyes at me before sighing and shrugged.
"Okay. We'll go with whatever you want. The skirt is fine but the hoodie? I've a shirt that can go with the skirt" she said.
"It's a joke, relax" I said. Her brows furrow when I went through my bag again. "Ta-da"
"Wow, this is crazy" she said. I held up the floral pink two piece and she collected it with an adoring look.
