"ARE YOU SURE that's everything you need? Just gummies?" Tessa asked with raised eyebrows and hands on hips. I shrugged and grabbed the gummy bears off the shelf.

It's Friday evening and we're out getting red socks and because Tessa decided to go to the mall before going home, she was with her school bag. "I've everything else I need at home"

"Alrighty. I think we've gotten everything we need" she said, clocking her tongue and grabbed cheese off the shelf, humming under her breath. "I was thinking —" she started, facing me again. "We should have a sleepover, just the two of us, no Bennett" she said.

I laughed at the Bennett part. "Bennett wouldn't even want to come"

"I know. Don't know why I said that" she giggled and went back to raiding the shelves.

'Counting stars by one republic' suddenly started playing in the mall. I hummed along, caressing the shelves.

"Can you please keep it down?!" A woman down our aisle yelled in anger, stopping us from yelling out our lungs. I cowered in embarrassment while Tessa laughed.

"Shut up" I whispered.

"Blame one republic for their exhilarating song, I just couldn't stop singing the chorus" she said and laughed some more.

My lips twitch "same" I said. "It's so addictive and enlivening"

"Especially if your friend has the same energy and vibe as you" Tessa said, grinning from ear to ear. I playfully frowned and raised my brows.

"Introduce me to this Friend because I'm sure it's definitely not me"

"Oh please! You just needed someone like me to bring that part of you out and yeah, I did that job and you're welcome, no need to thank me" she said and flicked my nose.

I smiled and hugged her back. "Thank you for being my friend"

"No no, thank you for being my friend. Literally anyone would love to keep you as their friend, dunno why you keep to yourself" she said, turning around and returning my hug.

There in flesh stood Zayn and Noel, looking through the shelves with a cart in Zayn's hands. I immediately turned around and was about to walk out the other way but Tessa was already making her way to them.
