"the devil say I owe him for life but I got the feeling I've got God on my side, remember when he sent you to me that night"
~J. WRLD.
NOEL'S CAR PULLED up in front of an expensive gate that had an exotic appearance. It was eerily quiet and I couldn't help but wonder; is this the house where the party is being held or the slaughter house where I'll be butchered and sold?
"Noel?" I called. He turned to me, his hair falling in his face. "where are we?"
"Where else? The party" he replied, pressing a button in his car and the gate slid open.
"Woooow"
Tessa and I said in harmony, truly awed by the house— "is this a mansion? I don't think I can even call it a house" I exclaimed, cupping my cheeks.
"Right" Tessa said. "Where's this?" She asked, facing Noel who grabbed the steering wheel and drove into the large compound, the gate closing behind us.
He pulled up to the driveway that had a lot of luxurious cars lined up in colors.
"This is insane" I said, shocked. "Again, where's this?"
Noel spared me a glance, looked back at the house and sighed. "It's Ty's house and his party"
The air stilled and my brows rose. I stared at the house again and tilt my head. "How long is this place to my house?"
"C'mon Delia, Ty isn't that bad"
"Yeah, you're gonna say that again when he throws me out of his house — scratch that, Mansion"
"He won't " he chortled. "I already knows I invited you guys, so he doesn't mind" he said. "I think"
I snap my head towards him. "What? You think? This is bad. I think I want to go home" I whined.
"You're already here, Delia" Tessa said and Noel nodded, agreeing with her. I rolled my eyes and leaned into them, putting my head between the seats.
"Doesn't mean I can't leave"
"Yo! Let's get inside and you'll forget your worries about Ty throwing you out. He probably won't even mind you or show up "
"He won't show up to his party?" Tessa asked. Noel nodded and turned the engine of the car off.
"Ty isn't one for parties"
"But he throws them? You can't possibly be serious" I said. Noel shrugged and ran his hand over his hair.
"I am. Now, enough of the fucking questions and let's go in"
"Don't cuss, Delia doesn't like it" Tessa said. Noel turned to me and raised a brow, I nodded and looked away.
"'kay. I won't cuss because baby doll here doesn't like it"
I silently thanked the dark night because my cheeks were burning and i would've been so embarrassed if Noel saw my cheeks heat up because of such simple endearment.
He unlocked the doors and motioned for me to get out. I pouted and opened the door, the night breeze hitting me straight in the face.
"I still can't get over how different you look" Noel commented, staring at me. I scrunched up my face and blinked.
"Good different or bad different?"
"Good different, trust me. You look beautiful"
"Thank you" I said. Tessa nudged me with a 'told you so' look. I blew out my cheeks and smiled. We followed behind Noel whose ass Tessa won't stop gawking at.
