"Every good girl needs a little thug, every block boy needs a little love"

THERE WAS this moment in my life where I accepted that I'd die before I know what fun really means but I was wrong. Over the past few days, Tessa and I've become so close that I even know that she once kissed her English teacher. We went to the arcade thrice in a week and it's kind of becoming our tradition. Even if it's not much fun compared to the night with Tynan, it's been really great spending time with Tessa.
It's Tuesday again when I've to meet my therapist, I skipped last week and mum understood that I wanted to be there when my dad got back, too bad he didn't even return, promising to come this week. I look forward to it tho, my dad is a really busy man but I love him because he finds time to be with his small family.
I locked the door behind me and walked out into the quiet Street, the afternoon wasn't sunny but heavy with the promise of rain. I wasn't really stupid, I was one for precautions so I remembered to pick up an umbrella, not wishing to get drenched in the rain.
My therapist office wasn't a long walk from my house, it's just about six minutes. I'll probably talk my dad into letting me drive my car, walking is really starting to wear me out. Mum offered to drive me there but I didn't want her there with me, I didn't want her to see how therapy partially breaks me.
My bright summer dress wipe against my body as the breeze blew. I wore a floral sleeveless summer dress with a black jacket over it, paired with my black sandals. My chestnut hair was in messy bun with two strands at the sides, framing my round face.
I sighed in relief when the familiar white building came into view and I hurried myself, eager to sit my tired ass down. *LIVE BRIGHTLY TODAY TO SMILE TOMORROW*
I almost scoffed at the bold words written on the banner. Mrs Julian is really good at her job, it irks me that she wants me to escape reality but the obvious truth is that I'm going to be dead six months from now. Shrugging my shoulder, I entered the building.
"Hi Delia! It's surprising to see you this afternoon" Sandy chimed with her really cheerful voice which makes me wonder if she's ever had a problem.
"Yeah, I guess"
"Of course. You look really pretty, you're practically glowing!" She said across the counter. I smiled to be polite because I was anything but glowing. My face is pale and scary.
"Thank you. Is Ana in?"
"Oh yes. Hold on" she said, her smile never leaving her face. She typed on her laptop, suddenly raising her eyes to meet mine. "Anastasia is ready to meet you and she's really surprised"
I nodded a bit and walked to Ana's office. I knocked twice and went in, not surprised to see Mrs Julian all ready with her jotter on her desk and her pen in her hand. Her office looks like a mess of colors. The blue couch contrast starkly with the pink painted walls and her white desk standing on a purple rug.
The flower vase on her desk is yellow and she's wearing a bright green shirt and black skirt . I smiled a little and walked to the soft blue couch and plopped down on it.
"Hi Cordelia, it's so great to see you today" she beamed. Her full lips were painted in red, her blonde hair was let down in waves. Mrs Julian is just twenty six and has a daughter but it looks like she walked out of the front page of a fashion magazine.
