Sonic and Lion King crossover: Lost Memories

Prologue. Shot

Mobius.

A world where talking and walking upright animals exist. Very different from our Planet Earth. Instead of humans, there are mobians. We have firefighters, police officers, the FBI, CIA, etc. to save us from the dangers... they have Sonic.

A blue hedgehog with the attitude of a teenager, Sonic the Hedgehog strives to protect Mobius with the help of his closest friends. They protect it from countless villains... but the main one is Dr. Eggman. 

Dr. Eggman wants to take over the world. A normal human, like us, but he doesn't have any sanity whatsoever. They're archenemies, sometimes working together but those alliances were purely because of desperation.

Sonic has a habit of making peace with his enemies. One of his closest friends named Knuckles used to be Dr. Eggman's lackey, before Sonic set him straight.

Another named Shadow is Sonic's rival, but they don't fight... much. Yet another enemy-made-friend is named Silver, a hedgehog like him but silver colored who comes from 200 years in the future that is destroyed by Solaris and Sonic's death.

Speaking of said silver hedgehog, Sonic and Tails were in the latter's workshop when Silver charged in. "Sonic! Tails! I need to talk to you with something." warned Silver desperately. "Silver? What's going on?" asked Sonic.

"After I went back in the future after our last interaction, Eggman was ruling it with an iron fist. I don't know how it happened, but when I looked at history it said that you and your friends disappeared— today exactly. There is going to be a fight with Eggman five minutes from now." explained Silver.

Sonic and Tails exchanged glances with each other. "Well, he is always right." said Tails, gesturing towards the yellow eyed hedgehog among them.

Suddenly an alarm went off. Silver smiled at them smugly. "Hate to say I told you so but I don't." Silver wasn't really one for bragging, but he might as well give himself some credit.

"Alright, don't be all smug, okay? C'mon Tails, Silver you come with because we don't know what the weapon he uses to take us out, literally, looks like." said Sonic, proceeding to run away.

"Sorry but neither do I," replied Silver, flying after him. "WHY am I friends with you again?!" asked Sonic with Tails following suite. They rallied the whole team and confronted the madman.

"There you are, you blue splinter in my side. I've got a plan to get rid of you and your friends forever and you can't stop me. Behold, my Vanishing ray!" explained Eggman.

The whole team exchanged glances. "Silver, are you sure that thing is going to make us disappear?" asked Sonic gesturing to Eggman. The younger hedgehog was trying to keep himself from laughing.

"I-I don't think so, that looks more like a freaking pistol." said Silver. "You won't be laughing after I'm done with you!" growled Eggman furiously, proceeding to shoot his weapon.

Then the fight truly began. The heroes started avoiding the bullets directed at them by the mad scientist, who shot them nonstop. "Did Eggman just forget how to aim?!" asked Silver from above beside Tails.

"I don't think so, Eggman always does things so coordinated..." answered Tails to the lighter Hedgehog. "Well, clearly he's not this time! Get ready for a fastball, Tails." said Sonic.

Tails nodded and grabbed Sonic's hands and tossed him into the air aimed at Eggman's eggmobile. What the smart fox didn't realize though was that Eggman aimed the gun directly at Sonic.

"SONIC WAIT!!!" shouted Tails in horror after he noticed. Before he could swoop in to save his older brother though, Eggman shot the latter and Sonic disappeared.

"SONIC, NO!" The whole team shouted in horror for their friend. They were mad. They started attacking Eggman who was able to shoot them all because they were too vengeful to even come up with a plan first.
