(Chapter 10) The Move

Everyone was having a great time being treated like gods and goddesses. Jack was still devastated that he had no fancy title like everyone else.

The Woods

Jack walks into the woods to clear his mind per usual and then feels Peyton's presence. "How does it feel?" She asked. Jack turns around slowly. "It was you?" Jack asked softly but angered. "No. But I heard the news and thought I'd stop by and check on an old friend." Peyton said. "You're not my friend." Jack said. Peyton walks up to him very close. "You know, I've observed you since the very beginning in case you tried something funny. Lucky for you I've found no incriminating evidence. But this... this seems to be enough. This seems to be enough to put a smile on my face. This my friend is exactly what happens to people who step out of line when dealing with me." Peyton said. "WHAT THE FUCK DOES 4 YEARS OF MY LIFE HAVE TO DO WITH YOU?!" Jack shouted. "You don't get it do you?" Peyton asked with aggression. A black and lavender aura surrounded her hands. "You find yourself extremely oblivious to the fact that I am better than you in even HALF of every aspect." Peyton said with aggression. "Half. That must be your favorite word." Jack said. "What?" Peyton asked surprised. "Yeah. Half. It's your favorite word. Get it? Because you're a HALF breed. And how you're going to be split in HALF if you don't SHUT THE FUCK UP!!" Jack ranted. "OR WHAT SKULL HEAD?!" Peyton taunted. Jack's hands charged up and amplified his strength to punch Peyton. Peyton fell back. Her nose was bleeding. She tried rushing back to Jack but he unlocked another power at that moment. Then he started choking Peyton, His magic started to kick in. His newfound ability allowed Jack to transform his demon magic into any element. Jack's power was altered into electricity. Peyton was seizing in his hands. With her eyes twitching violently and her muscles shaking. Afterwards, Jack released her. Jack looks down on her with a blank face. Peyton is on the floor twitching with a dazed face and a heavy stuttering breath. Jack was mentally enraged so much so that he kicked a tree down.

The Next Day

Jack was sitting in the park thinking about life per usual but found Kyria sitting on a tree. "Jack!" Kyria said as she jumped into Jack's arms hugging him. "Hey." Jack said They both kiss as a way of greeting each other. "What are you doing out here?" Jack asked. "Let's just say that my parents were not happy with the title I got." Kyria said with devastation on her face. "Must be nice having a title." Jack said. "Yeah, I heard of your situation." Kyria said. Jack sat next to her on the tree. "Why is it so easy for everything to be wasted?" Jack asked. Kyria felt very bad for Jack and wanted to comfort him in every way. "It's ok." Kyria said with a soothing voice while kissing Jack's cheek. Jack was about to cry again. "Hey. Don't cry. It's alright." Kyria said with a soothing voice. "You wanna go to the mall?" Kyria asked. "Sure." Jack said.

The Mall

Jack and Kyria went out shopping. Now they've arrived at the food court and got delectable drinks and food. "I almost forgot. I have a present for you." Jack said. "What?" Kyria asked. Jack gave Kyria a train ticket. "A train ticket?" Kyria asked. "Pack a suitcase. We're going to New York." Jack said. "What? Are you serious?" Kyria said with tears of joy. "I got us the best piece of land next to the city." Jack said. "I could just..." Kyria was too stunned to speak. Kyria got up and gave Jack the tightest hug he'd ever felt. "You are the best." Kyria said. "Alright pack up or else you'll miss the train." Jack said.

The Hunter Household

Jack packs his suitcase. Sailie walks in. "Who am I gonna play nether rumble with?" Sailie asked. "You have my gamer tag added." Jack said. "Right. It's just.." Sailie said as she pulled Jack towards her and hugged him tightly as she cried. "I'm going to miss you so much." Sailie said. "I know. I know." Jack said feeling sympathetic.

The MoonVale Household

Kyria packs her suitcase and walks downstairs to exit her house. "We're gonna miss you." Kyria's mom said as she hugged Kyria. "I promise to call you guys once a week and visit frequently." Kyria said.

The Train Station

Alana, Lizi, and Isaiah were there waiting for the train with Jack and Kyria. "You're about to start a new chapter buddy." Alana said hugging him. "This is a very life-changing moment for you and I'm glad that we got to prepare you for it." Lizi said hugging him. Jack gave Isaiah a handshake with a hug. "I'm forever grateful to be there with you throughout my upbringing, my struggles, my setbacks, and... everything. Thank you." Jack said. "Anytime." Lizi said. The train pulls into the station. Jack does a group hug with his friends and waves his final goodbye.
