ARTHUR LEYWIN

Waking up from my sleep, my hair covering my eyes, I pushed it back and saw Sylvie still absorbing the mana.

'Do you need some help?' I asked her.

'No, it's fine. Thanks to some of the memories that are engraved on this horn. I am learning more about the powers inside me,' she replied.

'You should go first. I'll stay here until I've absorbed all of its content.'

I nodded and went to the bathroom. I took my toothbrush and pasted some toothpaste—then I saw my reflection in the mirror. My eyes widened as I saw the horns protruding out of my hair.

Going upwards, it grew 6 inches at most.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" I screamed and sighed. I touched the horns and caressed it. I need to hide this, I can't walk around here with this, and if Director Goodsky sees this, I'm done.

Using my creation rune, I made a ring—a normal silver ring with aether imbued to it. The horns disappeared, so did the runes around my body and then I took a bath. Wearing my DC uniform I went to my class

....

After teaching, I went towards my next class. Arriving there, I saw the same bastard that destroyed the school. I controlled my anger and bit my lower lip, 'Today, I'll embarrass you, Lucas.'

The sound of something flapping resonated above me, gazing upwards I saw a hawk, a red hawk landing in front. The person who was controlling it was Professor Glory.

Professor Glory jumped down and introduced herself, "Welcome! My name is Professor Glory, I'll be your instructor for team-fighting mechanics I."

Professor Glory gazes at me, her eyes slightly glowing. Then she averted her eyes, I smiled and let out some of my aura.

She smiled, "Well, if it isn't my newest colleague, Arthur Leywin. It's a pleasure to meet you."

I smirked, "Likewise." People murmured around me, belittling me, and the foundation of Xyrus Academy. I released some of my mana and they all knelt down.

Professor Glory coated herself with mana and tried standing up—not wanting to fall down. "If you guys have any complaints and you know yourself that you can beat me, then come," I shouted, my voice laced with mana.

"Cut it out," Professor Glory whispered.

I retracted my mana and she took a sigh of relief. "Well, you heard him!" She smirked.

Some students came up, "How about this! Since we have the 2 council students here and 3 DC members. Why don't we have a battle between the 2 parties?!" She announced.

"That could work."

"I know right?!"

"Then who's the 3rd member of the other team?"

"Does anyone want to join in?" Professor Glory asked. Lucas came up while smirking.

"I'll join. Since this brat also stole my position in the DC." Lucas gritted his teeth.

"Great! So, for this to be fair, both teams shall have a king. When the king is defeated, it's an automatic loss. Arthur, you'll be the king and Tessia you'll be the king."

We all went to our positions, I faced against Lucas, Curtis faced Tessia, and Claire faced Clive. I wore the protective gear and conjured a mana sword.

The blue hue let out a buzz, I added more mana, making it stabilize. I swept it across the ground, the grass getting cut down with ease.
