1 YEAR LATER.

VIRION ERALITH

It has been a year since we last saw the brat. When the 2 Asuras arrived I was surprised but underwhelmed—they were the deities that gave us the artifacts, but they pale in comparison to Arthur.

They told us that they'll help us with the war against the other Continent or Alacrya. Aldir after a month when they arrived told me that he'd train Tessia and told me to fetch someone named 'Elijah Knight'.

First I was surprised then dumbfounded. I was glad that he was going to train my granddaughter but I don't know who 'Elijah Knight' is.'

In the end I accepted his proposal to train Tessia. Though Elijah Knight, I don't know him.

I asked him who this is, he merely said that he needs him to come here to the floating castle.

At first, I was hesitant. But in the end I complied, I told Lance Aya to find someone named 'Elijah Knight.'

Then my mind wandered to the time I talked to Arthur. In Rinia's place, I remembered him mentioning the name Elijah and told me that this guy is a Scythe that was originally named Nico.

So I immediately went to Cynthia and asked her who this is. But when I got there, I was dumbfounded. She said that there was no student named 'Elijah Knight.'

That was when all hell broke loose. My mind couldn't focus, I kept thinking about who and where he was. Arthur knew this guy, and this guy is somewhat connected to Tessia and Arthur.

Oh, yeah, the little one.

I went to her quarters and asked her who this is. And she said she didn't know either. She didn't know anyone named 'Elijah Knight'

...

I told Aldir about this and his eyes peeled open—all 3 looking at me; if I was lying. In the end, he just nodded and asked me another thing.

He told me to bring the Leywin Family in the flying castle.

That's where everything didn't make sense. I asked him, how does he know them and why is he bringing them in the castle.

His 3 eyes peered into me, I felt my body shaking, quivering in fear—his mana spread throughout the room. Then his mouth opened, the pressure retracted, "Arthur Leywin requested it."

My eyes widened, of course he did. I mean, I would've placed them here too not by his request but by my own. The Leywin family the next way was transported to the castle.

At first, they were hesitant, but when Arthur's name was brought up—they agreed. When they arrived, I went to meet up with Reynolds and Alice.

I knocked at the door to their room and a childishly, cheerly voice said behind the door, "Wait!" Ellie, the door handle went down and the door was opened.

There, peeking behind the door with hazel eyes, her eyes glistened up as she saw me, "Ah! Commander Virion." Ellie squealed. "Virion is fine, Ellie," I smiled.

Ellie scratched her cheek. "Who is it Ellie?" A mature woman's voice asked from further in the room. Ellie turned around and answered, "Commander Virion, Mom!"

"Here, enter..." She said and politely opened the door wider. I nodded and thanked her. I walked inside the room and at the center I saw both Alice and Reynolds.

"We greet the Commander," Both of them bowed. I waved my hands to them and told them to sit. They both nodded and sat, their eyes were somewhat dejected and pained. But behind it there was longing.
