Before You Go[Twilight;Jasper Hale]

Bella sat up, holding her bleeding nose and lip. "What the hell was that for, you psycho?"

There was a ringing in Gabriella's ears, blocking out the voices and the sounds. She could only hear her own breathing. Her own heart, thumping like a hummingbird's wings. "I...." Her voice was thick as she took a couple of steps away from the chaos.

Jasper and Alice were talking to her. She could see their lips moving, but she couldn't make out a single word that either were actually saying.

As she turned and mindlessly began to wander out of the garage, she would push away any hands that tried to grab her. Her footsteps became quicker until she was outside and sprinting towards the woods. She knew they stretched for miles and miles in every direction. One side even stretched far enough it was almost in the reservation.

That thought was enough to mess up her rhythm, and she fell flat onto the ground. She could feel the twigs and rocks scraping her hands as well as her knees under the fabric of her jeans. It stung, but that wasn't what was causing the tears in bed eyes

One moment, she had this almost perfect life, and now... now it felt like it was being thrown into the woodchipper. She had no time to fully process this before it felt like something else was falling apart.

Her train of thought was broken when she heard something moving in the woods to her right. She turned her head slowly and froze. Across the small, natural trench in the land, a massive, black wolf was standing there. If she didn't know any better...she would have honestly believed that the wolf was staring at her with a curious expression.

"Gabby!" Alice's voice cut through the silence and Gabriella turned her head in the direction of the sound. In a moment, Alice and Jasper were by her side. "You can't wander off like this...not with Victoria looking for you." Alice whispered as she got Gabriella back to her feet.

The brunette turned her attention back in the direction she had seen the wolf, but it was gone now. She swallowed a bit. Had he been a part of her imagination?

"We're going to take you to Charlie's. You can grab clothes and tell him you're having some girls night with Alice." Jasper spoke softly as he began to lead her back towards the house.
