Gabby finally walked into the house only to be bombarded with questions from Charlie.
"Where in the world have been, Ella?" Charlie asked, hugging his daughter close to him.
"I was with Jasper. I had a bit of a rough day dad. I'm sorry I worried you." She muttered, hugging her dad back.
Charlie could tell that Gabriella was really broken up over something, but he didn't want to pry. "Just, next time let me know you're okay?"
"I will." She gave a half hearted smile before she retreated to her room. There was this sour taste in her mouth as she entered the room. She grabbed a box and began to throw anything that Jacob had given her into it.
She was angry and hurt. Grabbing the picture of her and Jacob that was sitting on her desk, she threw it in the box. Her movements stopped completely when she heard the frame crack.
Gabby walked over to the box and carefully pulled the picture out of the box, dropping it once again when she felt the glass cut into her hand.
"You shouldn't be doing this tonight." Jasper's voice filled the room, almost making her jump out of her skin. He hadn't wanted to leave her alone with her like this, but at the same time he had meant to give her space. "I'm sorry, if you want me to go, I will."
Gabby looked up at him, the tears still falling from her eyes. She shook her head slowly. "Please.." she whispered softly. "Please stay.." That was all he needed to hear. He walked over to her, picking her up before he laid her on the bed and crawled in with her.
He held her close, wrapping the blanket around her. He carefully took her hair out of its ponytail and began to gently work his fingers through her hair, letting her cry it out.
She didn't know exactly how long she laid there and cried, but it felt like the tears would never end.
They finally did when she fell asleep, Jasper sighed softly as he watched her sleep for a moment before he carefully removed himself, walking over to the window.
He stopped when the broken frame caught his attention. He picked it up, carefully looking at the photo before he looked over to Gabriella. As carefully as he could, he set the photo on her desk and began to pick up the glass. He tossed it in the trash before he left.
Jasper knew she had said to stay, but he wanted to get a few things for her for when she woke up. Alice stood at the edge of the woods that could be seen from Gabriella's room.
She crossed her arms as Jasper walked over to her. "You okay?" She asked him softly.
Jasper looked up at her and shook his head slowly. "Not really, but my feelings don't matter. I'm worried about her." He admitted, looking back to the house. "I have to get a few things before she wakes up." With that he was gone.
Alice stood there for another moment, turning her back on the house she began to walk into the woods. Her movements froze however, her eyes glazing over as a vision pushed itself into her mind.
Gabriella was on the ground. She looked so pale and almost lifeless. Alice saw Jasper leaning over him, but for some reason she couldn't hear what he was saying to her. She gasped softly, covering her mouth as she saw Jasper lean down and bite Gabriella.
The vision ended, leaving Alice dazed and confused. That wasn't like the other visions she had. This was more like watching a TV on mute.
