My Professor is My Boss (ONGOING)

Chapter 5: The Event

"Arison."

The familiarity of her voice every time when she called my name.

Wait.. is that professor Harisvelt?Agad ko naman binuksan ang mga mata ko at hinanap ang pinanggalingan ng bosses dahil baka nag hahallucinate lang ako sa bosses niya.

Nang makalingon na ako sa likod, nakita ko siya. She's staring at mewithout emotions. Ganun parin ang expression na pinapakita niya, as usual palaging blanko. Kahit isang besses ata hindi ko pa siya nakikitang ngumingiti. She is the most mysterious professor I have ever known.

"H-hello po, prof Harisvelt."

My eyes traveled over her attire. She was wearing a stunning dress adorned with sparkling details. The embellishments on the dress shimmered with her every movement, like stars in the sky. The fabric was like silk, soft and smooth, falling perfectly over her body. The dress
was a deep blue, making her look like a queen in the middle of the night. The long sleeves had lace at the ends, adding to her elegant appearance. Under the light, her entire presence was like an image from a fairy tale.

"If you're done checking me out, could you please not make it so obvious?"

Napalunok na lang ako sa laway ko at bumalik na sa sarili nang marinig ko ang mga sinabi niya.

"I-I wasn't checking you ou-" Pagdedepensa ko. Bago ko pa matuloy ang sasabihin, pinutol niya naman ito kaagad.

"You better not, Arison." She spoke with a sly smirk playing upon her lips, a subtle expression of amusement and confidence flickering in her eyes as she delivered her words.

Pagkatapos niya sabihin yun agad naman siya tumalikod at iniwan nanaman ako magisa. Palagi naman.

After a few minutes, naisipan ko na pumasok ulit sa loob ng function hall, magsisimula na raw kasi ang announcement.

Nang nakapasok na ako, hinanap ko kaagad ang upuan ko. Kada upuan kasi may mga pangalan na naka reserved. Masasabi mo talaga na hindi basta-basta ang mga makakapasok sa event.

I just kept walking until I finally found the seat with my name on it. Uupo na sana ako nang biglang may kumausap sakin.

"Hello, remember me?" If I'm not mistaken, she was the one I talked to at the booth. "lm Lia Herdez, NAO's Representative. You're Blaire, right? I remember you from the booth kung saan ang first interaction natin." Pakilala niya.

"I'm here to congratulate you because you passed the National Arts Organization. Out of 63 applicants, you were the only one who passed. I'm not surprised because when I saw your digital arts, it was clear that you would be chosen. Congrats again Blaire."

"Thank you."

Parang buhok na ni Rapunzel sa sobrang haba na sinabi niya sakin, tas parang bangs lang ni Dora ang nasagot ko. Hindi talaga ako marunong kung paano mag react sa mga compliments, pero alam ko sa sarili ko naaapreciate ko yun.
