I was on call when I saw her going out of the house. I didn't step out of this house knowing very well, she might end up doing something stupid thing after I told her that.
“Where were you going?” I ask my voice, void of any emotion as I pulled her inside the house before she could step out.
“None of your concern Mr. Old hag.” She replies Old hag? Come’on I am not that old.
“Just get back to your room, my brother is coming home, don't come out until he is gone!” I told her. He’ll be here in an hour or two.
“Why was I never aware of the fact that you have a brother?” She asks, folding her hands over her chest.

“That's none of your concern as well Young lady,” I replied in the same manner. I couldn't tell her the real reason behind me always telling her i don't have a family.
She gave me a cheeky smile as she said, “I’ll go anywhere but my room,” the fear evident in her voice.
My eyes held concern for a second even before I could realise that my expression changed. I am feeling this for her? Why?
“Why?” I ask as I hold her chin between my thumb, index and middle finger.
She tried to get out of my grip but that was of no use.
“Y-ou are hurting me!” She says, her voice muffled.
“What about the hurt you caused me?” I asked.

“I’ll join college tomorrow!” She says fighting with her fingers as I gaze at her.
“Hmm!” I hummed, turning around but what I heard next made me turn around and look at her and ask, “What did you say?”
