Y/n and Mei wandered through the halls of UA, glancing at the signs and room numbers as they searched for their homerooms. "Okay, so where's 1-B?" she muttered, looking around. Mei, momentarily distracted by gadgets some students were showing off, got tugged along. "Focus, Mei. We need to find our rooms." They passed by Class 1-A's room, where a tall boy with glasses was already organizing his classmates. She caught his eye for a brief moment, recognizing him from the assembly, before quickly averting her gaze and continuing on.

"Here it is," Mei announced, pointing to a door with a bold '1-B' sign.

"Thanks, Mei," Y/n replied, taking a deep breath. "Guess this is it."

"Good luck! You'll do great," Mei said with a smile before heading off to her class. Y/n stepped into her homeroom, greeted by a mix of nervous and excited faces. Just as she was about to take a seat, a girl with vibrant orange hair popped up in front of her.

"Hello! My name is Itsuka Kendou. Welcome to Class 1-B! If you ever need help finding your way around or with training, you can always ask me! I hope we can be friends." Y/n blinked in surprise before a smile spread across her face. "Oh! I'd love to-"

"Hey! I remember you from the entrance exam!" She turned from Kendou to see a loud, silver-haired boy who she vaguely remembered helping during the exam. "You're the one who boosted me up, right? I couldn't have smashed through those robots without your help. Thanks for that!"

"I'm glad I could help," Y/n smiled, happy her new classmates were friendly.

Their teacher, standing at the front, looked every bit as intimidating as she'd heard. "Welcome, Class 1-B," he said in a gruff voice. "Take your seats. We have a lot to cover." Y/n found a seat next to Kendou, who gave her a friendly smile.

"I am your homeroom teacher, Sekijiro Kan, but you can all call me Vlad King. Today, we'll be heading to the training grounds to test your endurance and quirk abilities with some teamwork exercises. You'll be randomly assigned to teams for the exercises. Now, head down to the changing rooms and get into your gym uniforms."

Y/n turned to Kendou. "I just realized I never introduced myself. I'm Y/n L/n. It's nice to meet you, and I hope we can be good friends."

Kendou grinned. "Of course! Let's go get changed and smash these assessments into the ground!" The two of them went to change, chatting with a few other girls along the way, before heading out to the training grounds.

As they walked, they passed Class 1-A, who seemed to have just finished their first round of assessments. "Looks like they had a tough session," Y/n remarked, sharing a glance with Kendou before continuing on.

"Alright, everyone, let's start with the ball throw test!" Vlad King announced, catching everyone's attention.

Tetsutetsu jogged over. "Hey, you two ready to crush this?" he asked, flexing his arms.

"I hope you didn't forget your metal polish this time, Tetsutetsu," Kendou teased with a wink, earning a laugh from him. Nearby, Awase and Tsunotori discussed strategy, while Shiozaki was quietly praying, mentally preparing for the test.

Vlad King called out, "Alright, let's see who goes first... Kendou, you're up!"

Kendou stepped forward, grabbing the ball in her enlarged hand. After taking a deep breath, she launched it with all her strength. The ball soared through the air, landing with an impressive 643 meters. "Great job, Kendou!" Y/n called out, clapping along with the others.

"You're next," Kendou said, giving her a nod of encouragement. Y/n stepped up to the line, feeling the weight of the ball in her hand. She took a deep breath, wound up, and threw the ball with all her might. It flew through the air and landed with a thud at 68 meters.

"Nice throw!" Tetsutetsu called out, giving her a thumbs-up as Tsunotori stepped up next.

As the ball throw test wrapped up, Vlad King announced the next exercise: the 50-meter dash. Y/n exchanged a nervous look with Kendou. While waiting for her turn, she chatted with Kaibara, who shared some tips on maintaining speed and stamina. When it was finally her turn, she took her position at the starting line. The whistle blew, and she sprinted forward, giving it her all.

As she crossed the finish line, her legs burned, and she gasped for air. She nearly tripped but managed to catch herself just in time. Kaibara gave her a thumbs-up, and Kendou clapped enthusiastically. Despite her exhaustion, a smile spread across her face. She took a moment to catch her breath as Kaibara handed her a water bottle, which she gratefully accepted, taking a long drink.

"You did great," Kendou said, patting her on the back. "Your speed is impressive."

"Thanks, Kendou," Y/n replied, still breathing heavily. "Kaibara's tips helped a lot."

"Glad I could be of use," Kaibara added, joining them with a grin. "We're all getting stronger together." As they chatted and cooled down, Vlad King approached with a clipboard.

"Good effort, everyone. Let's keep up this level of dedication. Now, let's do some laps around the track."
