That night you didn't get much sleep. How could you? You made another friend finally, and you for sure wouldn't let him go. No, that was a mistake you'd never make again. Vi seemed to have moved on from you, and you didn't blame her, she and that piltie were a great match and you saw how Vis' eyes strayed from time to time.

So you decided to take matters into your own hands and do what you do best. Spy. You prepared you cloak and readied your hoverboard next to other things and when the morning came, you went to say your 'final' goodbye to the three.
"Hey. [Reader], train okay? Play with the kids and go punch the mannequin a little, I want you to make progress even when I'm not here."
"Pfft, as if I made any with you."
You rolled your eyes and turned to Vi, who was ready to grasp you in another hug.
"I won't forget about you, so don't forget about me."
"It'd be hard when there's this big ass painting of you face."
You replied to her and she let you go, then you turned to Caitlyn, you didn't have any hard feelings for her, but she seemed to feel awkward around you. Ekko was already giving Scar a rundown of what to do in his absence, even though Scar already knew, Vi was listening to them with intent. You grabbed the piltie by her arm and pulled her a little further away from everyone.

"Look, take care of Vi for me okay? I know she's a lot sometimes, but she needs you, more than you realise."
You whispered to the piltie. Caitlyn nodded.
"I am honored to have met you Caitlyn. You're not that bad for a piltie."
You gave her a warm smile and let her go.
"That goes both ways."
Caitlyn returned your smile, a little awkward one, but it was a smile nonetheless, and you let her go to the rest of the group, waving at them as they left. Alright, time to put you plan into action. You hurried into your room and put on your cloak, on its back was a device to hold the hoverboard. And next to the machine layed a your own mask. The door to your room burst open and you flew out on your hoverboard. Scar was looking at you and waved for you to come down.

"Yeah?"
"Do you have time?"
"I mean, I was gonna head out and test my flying skills outside of here, what did you need?"
"My kid said she wanted to play with you, but it can wait."
You felt bad for letting the kiddos down, but this was a little more important than a game of tag.
"I'll play with them as soon as I'm back!"
Scar nodded and went with you to the hideout entrance, opening it for you. You slipped out, your hoverboard under your arm and mask secured to your belt. You waved to Scar with your free hand and turned to leave, putting the board onto your back.

Your mask sat snuggly on your face and your board was secured on your back. The three were going through an abandoned sewer system that hid the giant drain where the tree was located. Finally, someone, presumably Ekko, opened a grate above them and popped out of the tunnels. When all of them left the tunnel you came closer and waited for their voices to quiet down before you climbed up yourself. After you left the sewer, you put your board down, activating it with a light a step. You hopped on and begun to climp up with it, you needed to get high if you were to spot the three. When you were long way above the ground, you pulled out a spyglass from a pocket on your pants and looked around. At once you spotted them, you turned the machine and followed, keeping your distance, you couldn't risk anyone spotting you. The hood of you cloak slipped onto your head with your hands guidance. The three never left your sight and you were ready to act.

You followed them from afar for most of the day, the Undercity was bigger than you ever realised and when they crawled out of some hole near the bridge with two big gears, for god knows what purpose and you stayed there, watching from the shadows, it was already beginning to get dark. They started to walk across the bridge and you crawled out of the hole. You watched them from the safety of the bridges pillars, Ekko and Caitlyn in the lead, while Vi lagged behind, until she ultimately stopped.
