"I didn't know if I could trust you!"
"So you just come out swinging?"
"Gee, I wonder where I leaned that from."
Vi and Ekko were having a fiery conversation, you and Scar were sitting outside, waiting for the leader to come out. Scar's kid was flying around on a hoverboard with other children, and you got to hand it to them, they were really good at it.
"Aren't you scared they'll fall and get hurt?"
You asked Scar. The two of you didn't get to speak much. The purple skinned man laughed quietly and shook his head.
"No, they've been flying for most of their lives. My little girl is better at it then I'll ever be."
One of the kids turned upside down in a loop. You were genuinely amazed at the extend of their skills.

The doors of the interrogation room were flung open and Vi and Ekko exited, Vi was looking around, amazed at the sight, you understood how she felt, and even though you were getting used to the view, from time to time you found yourself sitting on a bench at night, looking up at the tree and the firelights' neon green flickers. You diverted your gaze from Vi and looked at Ekko, he wasn't wearing his mask anymore and he wiped his left eye. Did he cry? You tried to make eye contact with him, but he kept looking at Vi.

You snickered a little and watched them walk away, talking. Seems like you weren't needed.
"I'll go do something at least a little more usefull."
You told Scar and he gave you an approving nod.
You had your mind already set on what you wanted to do. On one of the trees lower branches hung a makeshift punching bag, it's shape looked a little like an enforcer, and if you couldn't land a hit on Ekko, you'd at least punch something. You thought of Vi and her never-ending wallpunching and tried to copy her moves.

You only concentrated on landing a punch after punch, everything else faded into the background. You hit it, again and again. God knows how long you were there actually, the skin on your knuckles started to tear and bleed, yet you still continued. You didn't even notice. You genuinely felt like Vi back in the prison, although your target was a little more soft. The thing that finally snapped you back to reality, was a well aimed flying rock that landed on the top of your head. You turned to see who was the author of that and saw three figures looking your way.

"How long have yall been there?"
You yelled at them and came closer. Vi was pointing at you with an opened mouth.
"[Reader]! What the fuck are you doing here?"
You grinned at her and offered her a hand so she could do your handshake again. But instead Vi pulled you closer by it, embracing you in a tight hug.
"I'm so glad you're okay."
"Me too?"
You never expected Vi to be a hugger, but after a bit you returner it. Ekko was lookin at you two with a little smile and the piltie stood by with her face portraying suprise.
