You handed Ekko a box filled with spare parts and various gears, he nodded with a smile and turned back to the table and continued working on whatever with Heimerdinger. You didn't understand what they were making, but after some time and a lot of questions you started to get the hang of it. Ekko also looked happy that you took interest in the gadgets for some reason. Even though why you were all of a sudden interested stayed a secret for him.

When they were done for the day, you locked yourself in your room and thought. You tried to resist the urge to go back to the creature, but something inside you drew you to it. Maybe the way it trusted you immediately, or how it was there for god knows long, all on it's own or maybe just something in the way it looked at you. You just knew you had to go back. But you couldn't just get up and leave, not again, considering how that ended up the other few times.

So you sat on your balcony and watched the life underneath you as you waited for Ekko to be free, however, a better idea came to your mind. You freed your legs from the railing of the balcony and grabbed your hoverboard. It flew you down to the ground and in return, you secured it on your back and carried it around, lookin for Scar. He leaning on few boxes, feeding his youngest kid. Your feet carries you to him and you asked him if it'd be okay to go out for a bit.

Scar nodded with any arguments and you smiled and ran off to the entrance, all you had to do now was open it, which, you actually did once, but boy oh boy was it hard. Nevertheless you didn't want to bother Scar with that if he was feeding his baby, that'd be just a dick move from you. So you started pushing it and only after it started to move you realised you didn't have your cloak on. You groaned and let the stone fall back to it original place and went back for your cloak.

"Okay, here we go again."
Your side and hands were pressed against the rock and you pushed it open again.
"Yo, you need some help?"
Great, now you'd have to explain yourself to Ekko and ruin the whole thing.
"I'm fine."
You heaved more and the rock moved, creating a little opening, you'd never understand how Scar found it so easy to open it, but you knew you'd never mess with that guy.
"Where you goin'?"
"I told Scar already, no I'm not gonna go get blown up or take shimmer, I'll be back in two hour max, yes I'll be carefull. Mom."
Ekko chuckled and shook his head at your stubbornness.
"I'm guessin' you wanna be left alone for this one eh?"
You kinda felt bad, but if you took him along, you'd ruin the suprise.

The boy watched as you dissappeared into the sewer system that surrounded the giant drain and then he let the entrance close again. After you spend some time in the dark, you lifted the same grate that Ekko did when he and Vi with Caitlyn were headed for the bridge, goosebumps ran down your back at the memory. Never again. You awkwardly climbed out and covered the entrance again, heading in a direction you knew well already. The Last drop.
