Impasse

“Good morning Khun Tul.”

“Umh, sleep some more.”

Tul thinks that his eyesight is failing today, or that the world he lives in has changed, because as soon as he opens his eyes to welcome the dawn, the first thing he sees is the very familiar face of the boy he has seen since childhood and the look in those deep black eyes that look at him and give him a truly happy smile with this he seems to discover that the sky shines brighter than any other day and for this reason, his heart, surprisingly... He shudders. That feeling causes the half-blood boy to take the person next to him into his arms and close his eyes while sighing heavily.

“We have lessons today.”

“But they will be in the afternoon, so getting up later will be fine.”

Tul whispers and slides his hand into the hair of the person in his embrace realizing that it actually feels very strange. But it's not just the sight, it's also the feelings of him. Yesterday was the day he woke up in the wee hours of dawn next to Naphawadee, and the day he felt most disgusted with himself. Sleeping with that woman made Tul feel absolutely terrible. But today, having Hin in his arms makes him feel happy and smile. His heart burns so much that the coldness in his heart seems to melt as soon as he makes eye contact with that beautiful pair of black eyes. From the moment Tul brought Hin back from Rob's house yesterday, he hasn't let his loved one go away from him he didn't let him go to the little house behind the villa, he didn't let him go to bed alone and he didn't even let him bathe alone and this was because of the words...

“Let me go.”

Which left him with such an intense feeling, that he dreaded every second that it would actually
happen. Last night there was nothing they could do, not even talk, it was just Tul hugging the body of the man whose skin is not soft, with rough hair covering the skin, but the feeling he gets when he hugs him, is the hottest I've ever felt. Yesterday he swallowed his revulsion and stroked Naphawadee to comfort her, but today he feels as if he could stroke Hin's hair all day.

“I have to go downstairs and get to work.”

Tul hugs him tighter.

“What do I have to do to stop you from doing this?”

Tul asks with his eyes closed, but with a smile on his lips.

“I promised my father I would help him wash the cars.”

“All?”

“Yes, all of them.”

Tul opens his eyes again, meeting the boy's slight smile which indicates that he doesn't want to get up either but doesn't want to break his promise to his father. Tul looks back into his black eyes that still look red and swollen from yesterday's crying, so his finger slides down his face and touches the corner of one of his eyes and then he leans down and gently leaves a kiss on his eyelid.

“Everything is fine.”

He wants to let him do what he wants. And that person, this time, wins overwhelmingly. It's then that, once and for all, Tul understands why someone like Rob is so condescending to Hin. Yesterday he was so angry with him that he wanted to cut off his head and almost wanted to break down the door when he entered the room where Hin was, but when the door opened, Rob stopped, and just seeing the look in Hin's eyes, he gave up. All his fury subsided, he bowed his head and rubbed it hard, and only said in frustration.

“Goodbye, fools.”

But maybe it wasn't Rob who was acting strangely, maybe it was Tul who never realized that just by looking at those eyes, his heart can thunder so easily or maybe he has always deceived himself by trying to deny it, because as soon as he looks at him...
