F*cking surprise

Even though Tul was born into a very rich and well-known family, the eldest son never celebrated a birthday party due to his late grandmother's order not to organize any kind of event for Tul. After the “accident” that caused her paralysis, this custom did not change in any way; firstly because it wasn't necessary and the other reason is that for Tul celebrating the day he opened his eyes to see the world is totally indifferent. But if the bosses showed a lack of interest in his birthday, this is not the case for the palace workers. From three in the morning, the housekeeper is already preparing a variety of dishes for the young master Tul, at the early hours of dawn, to then celebrate in the kitchen with a generous breakfast shared with all the servants, this time he did it to congratulate and offer blessings to Tul which had to be done before Rassa woke up for breakfast.

“Khun Tul, you need to have a little more patience. There's just a little bit of time left to finish school and graduate.”

Hin's father squeezes Tul's hand tightly and tells him this in an affectionate and respectful tone.
“Oh, yes, thank you very much uncle.”

Tul looks at his dear friend who has an important position in his life and who is talking to his mother. The one who for days was too evasive and refused to be alone with him, so he smiles as he imagines that he  feels embarrassed about what he asked for as a birthday present so when he remembers that this event would be tonight, an even bigger smile comes to his face, to make eye contact with Hin's father again, and again...

“Thank you uncle, for always allowing him to stay by my side.”

“And it will always be that way.”

From the day Khun Try helped his family, he felt the need to give back. So if his son Gornhin can be of help to Khun Try's son, his father does not hesitate to offer it.

“I will do whatever it takes to make it so.”

Tul smiles as his eyes shined and without saying anything else about what it means, he turns only to receive the blessings of the other workers. Even though he tells himself that he would never lose sight of Hin and would never let him go away to be with someone else. He has always been by her side and it must be that way forever.

These are the thoughts of the birthday owner who can't even imagine that this would be his last birthday before Hin decides to leave him.

“Hin? He didn't tell me he was going out, Khun Tul.”

That's when his mother notices his absence.

“I understand. He didn't tell me anything either.”

Tul is very surprised that after going to do his exercises and also after taking a shower and changing clothes, the person who comes every day to clean the room, is not there so Tul goes downstairs and asks Aunt Klin if he knows if Hin went out somewhere, since wherever Hin went, he always told her first even if he was just going to the market to do some shopping.

“Wait a minute Khun, I'll call him right away.”

Seeing her young boss's frown, the housekeeper hurries to get the phone to call her son, but Tul shakes his head.

“No. Okay aunt, I will call him myself. But do you have any idea where he might have gone?”

“No, he didn't tell me anything.”

The housekeeper shakes her head repeatedly.

“It's okay aunt. I don't mind, please work hard.”

Tul leaves the kitchen and then stops in the garden. He is frustrated and shocked that since this morning, he has not been able to make eye contact with Gornhin, who has refused to look at him and worse yet, at sunset, he disappeared without a word! Let alone the day that is today. And why is this today?
