He is with her and she is with him
The place where Warrior took Gornhin is a famous bar-style restaurant that in the evenings is usually crowded and bustling with the many people who visit it frequently, especially on their days off. The live music in the center of the venue plays a song that might get you in the mood, but as for Hin, he's not in the mood to enjoy the atmosphere around him.
“Come on man, have a drink. At times like this it's better to have fun.”
Rob urges him to drink until he gets Hin to pick up a glass.
“It is precisely in moments like this that it is good to forget these things.”
“So in these cases, saying, ‘let's have a drink, Hin' is your best advice?”
“Don't take it that way. That's why we're friends.”
Rob pats him vigorously on the shoulder and raises his drink to drink half the liquor in the glass in one go, while nodding his head towards Hin's glass.
Hin remains silent for a moment, until he slowly closes his eyes.
“Well.”
Despite the heavy sigh, Hin raises the glass and also drinks half the contents in one go, just like his friend. In fact, he now feels that maybe it’s a good idea to let go, as his friend says. And to forget.
Suddenly, the phone that's sitting face down on the table shakes so hard that Hin flinches, spilling the liquor on his clothes but it matters little to him when, startled, he turns to look at the phone. Just like this morning, when he saw that the boss is calling, he wants to answer the phone and tell him not to go to Khun Wadee.
Gornhin now feels undecided.
The young man stares at the phone for several seconds, so when he reaches out and wants to take it...
“You should go to the bathroom and clean yourself up. Your clothes are a mess.”
Rob is quicker than his friend to grab the phone and says this while looking at it with a serious expression.
“I don't think this is a good time to be looking at your phone. You better go wash your face too.”
“Mhm. I will be right back.”
But despite getting up to do so, Hin is still nervous and stares at the phone with sad eyes then he turns to go to the bathroom, but...
“Shit, Hin!”
As quickly as he can, Hin snatches the phone from his friend's hand only to see a short message...
[Thanks, P'Hin.]
The person who sent the message is not the one he expected however it is the thank you message from young Wadee who attached a photo so with his hand shaking he slides his finger and opens it just to see... The beautiful young boss's photo of him smiling towards the camera looking completely happy.
In that moment, Gornhin feels as if the world has collapsed before his eyes.
“What the fuck, Hin...?”
"I am sorry. I'll leave you my phone.”
Gornhin almost throws the device at his friend without even bothering to close it, turns and walks quickly in the direction of the bathroom entering a cubicle securing the door and then raises his hands to his face to... Tears already coming out of his eyes.
What did you expect? The boss who angrily asks where he went? Did the boss call to tell him that he would be punished? The boss telling him that all he wanted was to be with him? Why keep waiting for all those impossible things?
