*Lunas Pov* "Weird question but, do you have another set of AirPods or headphones? I must have forgot to pack mine" Paige says looking at me. I looked at her in the eye, those heavenly blue eyes. "Um sorry i dont but you can have one of mine" I say feeling bad, I take my AirPod out and give it to her, she hesitates then takes it and thanks me. I was currently shuffling the album, evermore by Taylor Swift, so I quickly unlocked my phone and changed it to something she would like. She must have saw me looking through her playlist cause she then said "You don't have to change the music! I wanna listen to what you like" she said softly smiling. UGH this damn girllll 'I wanna listen to what you like' shes sooo cutee! I played it cool even though inside I was screaming. I simply nodded and hid my smile.
It's been about a half hour and I'm starting to get bored of music. "Wanna watch a movie?" I ask her taking out my AirPod. "Sure" she said. We scrolled through Netflix until we decided on the movie Grown Ups with Adam Sandler in it. We giggled at the movie until I got a notification saying that Nika.Mühl tagged me in a Instagram story. "Haha" Paige laughed then turned around to Nika. "Nika! Send me that" Paige yelled as Nika made a heart with her hands. It was a good pic not gonna lie. It's was genuine and in the moment. I hit play on the movie and we continued to watch it.
"OK GIRLS LISTEN UP! It's late and I don't wanna be yelling!" Geno said after the plane landed and we got off the bus that took us to the hotel. "I just checked in to the hotel, pick a card out of the deck and whoever is matching you is your roommate. Once you find your match both of you come to me and I will give you a key. Let's do this quick ladies." He said rubbing his eyes. We all grabbed a card from the deck. Me and Caroline got the same cards so we are roommates. Thank god cause I didn't want to get someone I wasn't close with. Geno gave us our room keys and we headed up the elevator. We had a game tommorow so I immediately hit the bed.
Morning came quick. The whole team decided to meet up for breakfast. We all met in the hotel lobby and went to a little cafe that was in the hotel. I caught Paige staring at me a lot. I didn't say anything though, I'm just assuming she's mad at me or something cause when is she not mad at me. Our game wasn't until 7 so I went back into the room and slept. Caroline woke me up around 5.
We both started to do our hair in the bathroom. We shuffled some pump up music. I liked Caroline, she was really nice and easy to talk too. "Okk so I keep forgetting to ask you, are you and Paige like, like" she looks at me with a look "like what?" I laugh confused on what she was trying to say here. "Like together?" "Hahaha no! She literally hates me, so you hear her yelling at me?" Caroline shrugs "Nah she looks at you like shes in love! Like damn she's down bad!" Caroline laughs and brushes her hair. "Would you date her if she liked asked you to? Cause I totally ship" "I mean, I don't know" "Come onnn, who would I tell??" I hesitated but finally gave in "Fine yes" I blushed. Wow that was the first time I have ever admitted I had a crush on Paige. SHIT I didn't even tell Nika! I tell her everything, and I always tell her first. Same with her.
"I will be right back!" I tell to Caroline so she could hear me as I run out of the hotel room. I run up to Nikas room which was down the hall, she was sharing with Azzi. Azzi opened the door and I ran right in. "NIKA NIKA NI-" "what?" Nika says confused "are you hurts? What's wrong?" There was 5 seconds left in the game. Our ball. Tie game. The whistle blows and Nika dribbles the ball, passes to Ines who shoots and scores!! The buzzer went off and we all jumped up in the air cheering! Even Paige was happy, she surprisingly didn't yell at me as much as she usually do es. "Hey after party at mine! Rooms 224!" Aubrey says as we are all cleaning our selfs up for media. I whip through interviews cause I wanted to go to bed so badly. Caroline ended up going to Aubrey's party but I was too tired so I stayed in the room. I was scrolling through tiktok trying to fall asleep, it was about 10 at night, when I heard a knock at the door. I slowly got up and opened the door. "Paige?" I say suprised to see the beautiful woman standing at my door. "Hey um so Aubrey threw a party and I am her roommate and I am really tired and I can't sleep with them all in there. Could I-" "omg of course, come in. Carolines over there right now so you can just crash here for the night"
*Paiges Pov*
I stepped into Lunas hotel room, automatically noticing there was so my one bed... she seemed cool about it so I played it cool. I was kinda jealous Caroline got to share a bed with her every night. Luna went over to the small kitchen and opened the microwave "you just hop in bed I will be right there" she said, I was in love with her voice. It was so soft but could be aggressive when she wanted it to be. I carefully slid under the covers and placed my head on the pillow. A minute later she came in carrying two bowls. She had her hair down with her glasses on. She looked so pretty. "Popcorn" she as she placed a bowl on my lap. I sat up and thanked her. She was so sweet. Nika told me to stop yelling at her, which apparently I do, I mean I don't even realize it, Nika says I yell at her when I try to flirt with her. Which is totally not true. I don't yell but tonight at the game I tried not to "yell" as much and I think she definitely was happier. She was clicking buttons on the tv remote trying to pick what to watch. "Hmm stop here" I said as she clicked on one of my favorite movies 'stand by me' it was an oldie but goodie! I remember my dad showing it to me the first time and I think I watched it 3 times over again cause it was just so good.
*Lunas Pov* "This is my favorite movie" Paige says out of the blue, as the movie starts. My heart melted at the fact she told me that. Like she wants to watch her fav movie, with me! "I have never seen it" i say lying cause I knew she would get excited. "WHAT THATS LIKE ILLEGAL!" She jumps. She tells me all about the characters and who's who, of course I already knew all of this but I just play dumb because she was really excited to tell me. She's so cute, I just admire her as she blabs on. She eventually catches me staring so I look away back at the tv.
The movies about 45 minutes in and i wasn't even paying attention to it, all I could think about was this breathe taking girl who was laying inches away from me. I wanted her to be in my arms. But I knew that would never happen. So maybe I have to lay on her instead she lays on me. I decide to slowly inch my self over to her body. Gently touching her leg under the covers I instantly get goosebumps. I decide to fake sleep and 'accidentally' put my head on her shoulder. I slowly place it on and she looks down at me. I have my eyes the tiniest bit open so I can see that she smiled as she looked down. She put her arm around me and hugged my side. O.M.G. I stay there frozen for a couple seconds then I start to move around to get comfortable. She notices and pulls me into her so now my heads laying on her chest and her hands snake around my waist. This is what I call heaven. I never want to leave this moment. Please Caroline stay at Aubrey's and don't interrupt this moment.
