When morning came I woke up in the same position I fell asleep to, laying on Paige's chest with her arms wrapped around me. I didn't know if she was awake so I just stayed there for a while and closed my eyes. Her hand lifted up from my skin so she could rub her eyes. Once she was done she put it right back where it originally was.
"Luna, Luna" she whispered "mmm" "are you awake?" She asked gently "mmm" i mummed with my eyes closed. She pulled me in closer to her and hugged me tighter. Her scent was like a summer night when your a kid. You're on your way back from the beach, listening to music, eating ice cream, life's good. She picked up on of her arms and gently started playing with my hair. I can't she's adorable.
"LUNA HAVE YOU SEEN-" Caroline bursts into the room, still wearing the outfit she left in last night. "Oh shit, my bad" she said when she saw us. We both shot up out of bed and separated from each other. I looked at Paige, who looked nervous. "Um Caroline could you like not say anything to anyone?" Paige whispered to Caroline but I could hear. Why didn't she want people to know. I thought we were getting along. This girl is so confusing. I watched as Paige and Caroline left the room. I signed and walked out the door.
"Ugh Paige is so confusing" I say as I jump on Nikas hotel bed. Her and Azzi are packing up since we leave soon. I tell them everything that happened last night and this morning. I watched as they didn't say anything in response and just smiled at each other. "What are you two not telling me?" I said mad that they know something I don't know. They both shrugged and zipped up their suitcases.
I hoped on my big cozy bed and immediately opened my laptop. We had just got back from LA. The airplane ride home was decent. I sat with Azzi and Nika but there was a crying toddler in front of us so you know how that goes. I kinda ignored Paige for the rest of the day. She seemed embarrassed of me since this morning. Not worth my time. I sat with Nika on the bus ride home. I turned on Grey's Anatomy and hopped on my phone. I was looking through pics to post from this weekend.
