CHAPTER 12

I connected my phone to the speaker and shuffling bob marley. A couple songs later I hear the slider door open, I turned around to see Nika. She joins me and sits on the chair next to me. "I've missed this place" i said lowering the music volume "same, it brings back so many good memories" we both sit in silence taking it in. It smells just like it used too. "Ok so what do we wanna show them today" Nika asks me "definitely our fav restaurant, um and that island that comes up during low tide!" I say excitied.

She nods her head and smiles, "so if Paige were to ask you to be her girlfriend, would you say yes? I mean not that she's thinking about doing it but like you know, would ya?" Nika asks, wow way to make it not obvious "She s planning on asking me?!" "Ya she wants to do it tonight so you can have the whole trip without having to hide it" she says, Nika cant keep a secret. "Wow um okay, well do you think I should say yes?" I asked her "not my call! It's yours!" I look at her frustrated, I just want her opinion "I would yes then, 100%, without hesitation. She's the sweetest human on earth. Ha you should have seen her meeting mom and dad, she was blabbing on and on." I laughed thinking about the fact. Nika has the biggest smile on her face, making me feel good that has approves of my decision.

"Does the team know anything about us? Like that we have hooked up?" "Ya, do you think I can keep a secret" nika laughs. I wasn't mad at her for telling them, I didn't tell her it to and I know if I didn't want her to say anything, she wouldn't. "Does Paige know that the teams knows?" Nika nodded her head yes "she's the one asking them for advice on how to ask you tonight" I laughed trying to hide my blushing. That fact that Paige cares and wants it to be special is so heart warming to me. "Well Paige's a hot mess, shes super nervous you'll say no. Do you want me to send her out here? You seem to calm her down a lot." Nika asks standing up "sure!" I say turning back up the music.

Seconds later I see a blonde plop down in the seat next to me. "Hey lovey" I say over the music ads she smiles. I see her shoulders relax and take a breath after I said that to her. Maybe I really did calm her down. "You excited for tonight" I asked looking at her "why?! what- what's tonight?" She said nervously "we're going out to me and Niks favorite restaurant" I laugh at her nervousness.

She takes a breathe after I say that, probably relieved I dont know what she's planning on doing to tonight. "Oh ya ya" she laughs putting her hair up into a ponytail. I hop out of my seat and I grab her hand. I pull her up out of her chair and I walk her down to the ocean. We walk hand in hand along the shoreline. She stops me when we reach a rocky wall area, that nobody could see us in.

She looks at me and steps closer. Her body touching mine. "You're beautiful, you know that?" She says rucking a piece of hair behind my ear. Here comes the blushing, before I could turn away to hide it she grabs my chin smiles at my red face. She then places a soft kiss on my lips. I had to litterlay bite my tongue, the urge to say I love you to her was on the tip of my tongue. But I couldn't say it, not just yet, it's too soon and I don't want to scare her off. Besides we aren't even dating yet.

I grab her hand again and we walk back to the house, letting hands go before we enter. "So Paige and Luna" my mom stops us, I look over at Paige who looks scared to death. "Could you too help and pack the cooler for me? I don't know what types of drinks you kids have these days!" Paige looks relieved. Ahahaha it's so funny to watch her get so scared.

We quickly pack the cooler and then head upstairs to get ready. I throw on my floral bikini on and ripped jean shorts. Paige came into my childhood bedroom and closed the door behind her. She had a black scoop bikini on with a white button down shirt thrown over it. Damn she was so hot. She runs up to me and puts her hands on my waist. Then she lifts me up into the air and sits me on her lap. My legs are wrapped around her waist and my arms are around her neck. She has a hand on my back and another right above my ass.
