CHAPTER 8

*sorry this is a long ass chapter but it's so worth it!! Def my fav chapter to write so far!*

*Lunas Pov*
The next morning I woke up surprisingly without a headache, and I could remember everything from last night. Must have not got that wasted. Paige was not in Azzis bed so I got up and walked to the hanging room. She was in the kitchen part of the room, sitting on a stool eating cereal. "Morning 95" she said as I smirked. I tried so hard not to smile, I always got mad at that nickname so tell me why I am now blushing at it. "Morning P" i said back, I needed to figure out a nickname to call her, something that nobody else calls her because she has one for me.

I sat down at a stool next to her and looked inside her bowl. It was regular cereal but it had little colored shapes in it. "What kind of cereal is that" I questioned "lucky charms" she looked at me, I gave her a confused look, I have never heard of lucky charms before. "You have never had lucky charms before?!" She said as her jaw dropped. I smiled at this then nodded my head no. She then grabbed a spoonful of the cereal and held it up for me. "Try" she said shoving it in to my mouth, like she was feeding a baby. I swallowed it and looked at her, she was smiling waiting for my reaction.

"Well?" "It's good, what are the rainbow things called?" "They're marshmallows, here" she said as she picked out a few and put them in my hand. I threw them all into my mouth. "These" i said pointing to the marshmallows "these are so good" i said as she laughed, Paige was very good at eye contact. She didn't ever break it. She then got up and grabbed a bowl. She poured me a bowl of lucky charms and grabbed a spoon. "Do you want milk with it?" "No I like my cereal plain" I said "Really, same! I think we are the only ones cause literally every time I say that people give me a weird look." She says excited "Ik! Milk just makes it soggy and icky" I say thanking her for the bowl. She sits back down and we finish our cereal.

"Good Morrningg" Nika said singing as she grabbed one of my shoulders and one of Paige's and pulled us in. "You too had fun last night" she said shimming her shoulders as she walked around the opposite side of the counter. Paige didn't say anything she just smiled and looked down at her bowl. Was she blushing? "No, we actually just went to bed." I said plainly and shoved my face with cereal. "Hmm. Not what your clothes say. Nika hummed. I completely forgot I had her pajamas on. I flipped her off.

"So it's gonna be like 87 out, you guys down for a beach day?" Nika said peeling her banana "yess we haven't done one in forever!" Paige said, she was now washing her bowl out in the sink. She saw I was done so she grabbed mine as well and washed it for me. I thanked her then headed to my room. I got changed into a red bikini and put on a crochet, knitted white cropped tank top on, and paired it with my light blue ripped jean shorts and sunglasses. I grabbed my tote bag and threw in a speaker, sunscreen, towel, and some snacks. I slipped on my flip flops and walked out to the hanging room.

Paige and Nika were still sitting were I was eariler. "Are we leaving or not?" I said eagerly. The UV was currently 8 and it was going down by the second. They hopped up and ran to their rooms. A couple minutes later they ran back out, Azzi was also with them. We all piled into my Jeep. Paige was in the passenger with Azzis ands Nika in the back. Paige was on aux and she played her summer playlist.

When we arrived to the beach, I immediately layed down on my towel, trying to soak in the high UV before it lowers. The other girls sat on their beach chairs, Azzi was connecting to my speaker and Paige and Nika were eating the chips I brought.

I lasted about 6 minutes before I was overheating and sweating. "anyone wanna go in the water?" I asked taking off my sunglasses. Paige immediately hopped up, I was hoping that Azzi or Nika would too because I feel like just me and Paige would be awkward. I gave Nika a look and she just laughed. Thanks Nika. Me and Paige walked to the water and when my feet hit the water I started running in. I got deep enough and did a little dive. The water was freezing but it was refreshing. "You're crazy!" Paige said standing where the waves crashed on the sand. She was absolutely beautiful. Her hair was worn down, naturally wavy and she had a navy blue bikini on. "Haha come in" I yelled so she could hear me over the ocean waves. She tip toed her way in, when she finally met me she had the biggest smile on her face I have ever seen. She looked so genuinely happy.
