These last 3 weeks have probably been the most fun i've had in years. Every night i go over to Paige's house and we do something. Sometimes we cook together, sometimes we go out, go bowling, go to the movies, sometimes i just sit and watch her write, but it never matters what we do it's always fun with her.

I've never met someone so young that knows exactly what she wants. When i was 20 i was a mess. Especially with what she's been through, she should be broken. But she's not. She refuses to be broken. I could learn a lot from her.

It's the end of April. Meaning i have 3 months left with her. The more time i spend with her the harder i'm making it for myself when the time comes. I've never met someone like her, she always listens to what i say even if I'm just complaining. She never pretends to understand, she only ever listens. If i didn't meet her, i would be in a lot worse of a place right now.

Tonight we are going to a party. Australian pop queen Kylie Minogues album launch party. I usually would never have gone but, I had a plus one and i know how much Paige loves her.

I'm standing in my kitchen ready waiting for a text from Paige to say she is too. I fix my red satin button up shirt and feel my phone buzz.

Little Paigey: i'm ready lukey

I smile at the text and make my way out the door and across my driveway to her house and knock on the door. After a few seconds she opens the door. Her hair is straight and her makeup is done perfectly. She's wearing a short red dress and black platform heels. I can't help but stare for a second and wonder how someone can get so lucky to be so beautiful on the inside and so fucking hot on the outside.

"Oh we're matching!" She says excitedly. I keep staring for a second.

"Is everything okay? Do i look bad?" she asks with a frown on her face

"You look amazing Paige. Seriously you look beautiful" i say to her

"Thanks Lukey" She says as she steps outside and locks the door to her house.

The Uber ride there is about 45 minutes, and we sit in the back together. I can't help what i find myself doing. I put my hand on her thigh and whisper in her ear
"You look so fucking good"

She tucks her hair behind her ear and grabs a hold of the hand i placed on her thigh. We stay like that for the rest of the drive.

When we arrive the mansion is spilling out with drunk people, some celebrities, some not. I walk up to the security at the door with Paige on my arm.

"Luke hemmings and his plus one" i say

The man looks at his list and gives us a nod before stepping to the side to let us in. I feel Paige cling on tighter as we walk through hall toward the kitchen.

"I need a drink" she says in my ear over the music

I nod and grab two drinks off a plate a waiter is holding and pass one to her. We both take a sip and cringe at the taste.

"Oh god what is that?" she exclaims with a sour look on her face

I laugh "That my girl, is straight gin"

She grimaces and i laugh at her. It's refreshing to see someone so innocent. Everyone in LA would complain it's not strong enough and ask if they could have some drugs with it too.

We hang around for an hour talking and i introduce her to a few people, sticking close together. Three of those special drinks later and we are both slurring our words. I can't help but think if i'm feeling it, how drunk does she feel?

"I need to pee" i say to her "Will you be alright down here by yourself"

"Yeah! I'll make some friends" She yells over the music

"Okay stay around here i'll be back in a minute" I say to her and go upstairs to find a bathroom.

After waiting 10 minutes for people to stop doing god know what in there, i finally get to go in. When i'm done i make my way down the stairs and search for Paige. At first glance i can't see her and i start to panic. Jesus christ she's gone. I start filing though people to find her. 

After 10 minutes of searching i see the familiar red dress from a far. As i get closer i see her with her tongue down some 30 year olds throat. I feel my head hurt and my blood boil. What the fuck is she doing. I storm over there and rip her off him.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing to her" i say to the guy, shoving him

"She came up to ME flirting man what the hell" he yells back at me incoherently

"She's fucking drunk off her head you creep" i yell as i throw a punch to his jaw

He looks at me terrified and runs away. I turn around to look at Paige who is still so drunk she doesn't even know what just happened. I grab her by the arm and drag her out the door. We are walking on the giant front lawn when i turn to her

"What the hell are you thinking Paige" i yell

"I don't know" she giggles back at me

"You could have gotten seriously hurt don't you get that" I yell again

"I wanted it to be you but i can't have you, so i went for the next best thing" she slurs smiling at me and nearly falling over

I stop for a second taking in what she said. I know she's drunk but i can't help but feel like she's telling the truth. And i can't help but feel like part of me got so angry out of jealousy.

"Cmon we're going. i'll call an uber" i say pulling her along.

We get back to her house and she's sobered up a tiny bit on the drive back. I can tell because she is hardly slurring her words anymore and she's rubbing her head like she's already got a headache.

I walk her inside and take her up to her bedroom. She takes off her dress leaving her in a bra, her underwear and her heels. 

"Stupid dress" she mumbled to herself throwing it across the room

"I'll go home Paige. Please get some sleep" i say

"No Lukey. Please stay the night" she asks me looking upset

I walk over to her and fix her hair. She looks so sad. I can't say no to her.

I sigh. "Lay down baby" I tell her. She does as i say and I take her heels off her and grab her a t shirt to put on. I take my shoes and my shirt off and crawl into bed next to her. She cuddles into me and falls asleep.
