Paige's Pov
Things between Luke and i have been perfect. I've never had a proper grown up relationship or anything before so this is all new to me. The closest i've had to a boyfriend is the boys i write in my stories. In saying that, Luke and i haven't labelled anything. He hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend and i get a pit in my stomach every-time i think him leaving in August. It's the beginning of May so, only two and a bit more months with him and it's over.
Tonight i'm going over to his house. Usually Luke comes here and we hang out but he wants me to over and have dinner with his mum. I've already met Mrs Hemmings. She was my maths teacher in year 8 and 9. We got along really well so hopefully tonight goes smoothly.
I put on my long sleeve black top, my black mini skirt and my converses and head over to Lukes house. Right before i get the chance to ring the doorbell the door swings open and i see the tall blonde boy. His hair is curly and messy and he looks like he just woke up from a nap.
"Hey Paigey" he says opening the door wider for me to come in.
"Paige! Oh my gosh it's so lovely to see you!" Liz runs over to give me a hug. "When Luke told me that the person he's been hanging out with every night was you i couldn't believe it" She said
"Come sit" Luke smiles and puts his hand on my waist as he guides me to the dinner table. I sit down next to Luke and opposite Liz. She's made homemade lasagna.
"Wow Mrs Hemmings this smells amazing!" I say
"Oh darling it's nothing, plus i see you and Luke order pizza every night and i thought i better make you guys something good to eat!" she jokes
I giggle and Luke squeezes my thigh under the table. The dinner was amazing, and thankfully i felt like i fit right into their little family. Once dinner was over Luke and I excuse ourselves to go upstairs.
"Sit down i have something to show you" Luke says anxiously
"Okay... What is it now i'm intrigued" I say
"I've been working on something for you. It's a song. About you. I wanna show it to you" He says smiling. He picks up the guitar and positions himself across from me. He plucks the strings and the most beautiful little melody starts.
"We fell in love in the city
I'd never seen it this cold

Then pushed me against the wall

Every word that drips from Lukes mouth makes me want to scream and cry and laugh all at once. I can't believe that he wrote something so beautiful for me. He looks up when he's done anticipating my reaction.
"Luke that is beautiful" i sigh "Seriously. You are so perfect. Thank you for the song. It means more than you know" i say reassuring him. He smiles a cheesy smile and puts the guitar on the bed.
"Come here" He says. I sit on his lap and wrap my arms around his head.
"I don't ever want you to leave" He says with his head in the crook of my neck. "I want to stay like this forever"
"Me too Lukey" I say to him. "I don't want you to go back to LA"
He shifts underneath me. He grabs my chin and looks me in the eyes. There's a moment of silence between us. Like he's thinking whether or not he should say something. "Then come with me" He says simply
"What?" i reply. He must have lost his mind.
"Come with me. Fly to LA with me in August and stay with me there" He says
"Luke I can't. I can't do that." I shake my head
"Yes you can Paige. You wouldn't be leaving anything behind. Come on. Just come with me. Just say yes and all our worries will go away and we won't have to be apart" he says with his hands cupping my face.
I think for second until i realise, i don't want to think anymore. I don't want to worry anymore. The only thing i want in this world is that boy.
"Okay"
"What? Okay" Luke says with a giant smile on his face
"Yes okay" I give in
He smiles and grabs me and gives me what feels like the best kiss we have ever had. In that moment i feel like as long as i have Luke by my side i can do anything. He is all i'll ever need.
