Wally

"marble was the best of us all. She was kind. And strong. And beautiful. She was a beloved daughter, mother, sister and friend to all. She was taken from us too soon. We will all miss her dearly. May she rest in piece and watch over all us cheering us on." Bruce was great at the speeches. We all watched her coffin be lowered into the ground and we all threw pink roses on the coffin before it was covered.

"marble must die!" I heard shouted whispers in my ears as I passed out. This was all too much.

Dick

Wally was sleeping peacefully as we sat at his bedside.

"hope he wakes up soon." marble said holding his hand. She got up to kiss her forehead. His eyes snapped open and within a second he was chocking her. He just went rabid like an animal.

"WALLY NO!" I shouted grabbing his arms and ripping him off marble.

"SHE HAS TO DIE! SHE HAS TO DIE!" he screamed trying to get at her.

"Marble run! NOW!" I shouted at her and she ran out of the room.

*Megan get me a sedative now!* I said using the mind link.

"SHE HAS TO DIE! IT'S JOKERS WILL! SHE HAS TO DIE!" he carried on shouting trying to get out of my arms.

Megan flew in and gave me the syringe and I sedated him. I laid him back down on the bed.

"what the hell was that? He was parroting jokers will?" I grabbed a blood kit and started taking his blood. I need to test this.

"marble? Where are you?" I called out to the cave.

"here." she said coming out of the therapy room. Of course.

"hey you okay? He didn't hurt you right." she walked closer to me. I lifted her chin and looked at her throat and it was already bruising.

"oh marbs. Come with me to the med bay. I'll get some cream for it." she nodded. Doesn't look like she's ready to talk.

We walked to the medbay and I passed her the cream. I then put the blood in the machine. Somethings wrong and I think it's drugs.

"is he gonna be okay?" she asked timidly.

"he'll be fine. Are you okay?" I asked her.

"yeah. I'll be fine. It doesn't even hurt that bad." she was sat next to me watching the screen.

A popup appeared on the screen and we both checked.

"that's why. Jesus no wonder he attacked you." god all those chemicals.

"what is it I don't understand?" to be fair she's not got any science experience.

"so wally's bloodstream had scarecrows venom, jokers gas refined into a serum and a hypnotic formula. The boy in that room isn't even wally with all this corsing through his veins. Luckily he's a speedster so he should work through it quicker. Someone must of dosed him with the objective to kill you. You aren't safe here okay. Until he's worked it off." marble was listening to every word.

" jokers still in prison and he's hurting us." she was so tired she wasn't even crying. She just seemed done.

" it won't be forever. He only has so much power." I comforted.

"let's go to bludhaven." I said walking her away.

"WHERE'S WALLY?!" (editors note: no pun intended lol) batman shouted.

"she's okay Bruce. He was dosed with joker and scarecrow venom." I explained trying to calm him down.

"let me see." his voice calmed as he lifted marbles chin to see her neck.

"jesus it's purple already." he lightly touched the bruises and she flinched from his touch.

"listen I've got the antidotes for both in my belt. Let's go wake him up."

"you do?" she said her eyes widening. Just the thought of wally waking up made her happy.

We started walking to his room. Marble was almost bouncing. She reminded me of a spring with her steps.

Bruce injected wally with both antidotes and used smelling salts on him.

He sputtered as he woke up.

Marble wasted no time in hugged him around the neck nestling her head in his shoulder. Me and Bruce were ready to step in if he attacked.

Wally just burst out in tears.

"you're alive." he sobbed gripping her hard as he could in a hug.

"you thought I was dead?" she said hugged him.

"yeah. You got shot in the head. I ran to star labs and strangled joker to death. Then I woke up and you were hugging me. What happened to you? Your neck?" he said looking at her neck and seeing the bruising.

"wally, you did that. You were drugged and screaming that she needed to die." I explained.

"I hurt you. I did that to you. Oh marble I'm so sorry." he hugged her even harder.

"it wasn't you. I'm just glad your okay. And it's over. It's finally over." this whole time they had just been hugging.

6 months later

Marble

"oh wally, this picnic was lovely. Thank you. I needed this." I said smiling.

"marble. I love you so much. Since I first met you at the rock creatures I knew you were such a beauty. You are strong and lovely and I've never met anyone like you. Marble, will you marry me?" wally got down on one knee and presented an emerald ring.

"yes yes omg yes!" I hugged him as I started crying. He hugged back and put the ring on my finger.

1 year later

Alex was walking down the isle in her pretty pink dress. She was 2 now and waddling to wally who had his arms open for her. She had curly ginger hair and a pink princess dress. The crowd was just staring at her. Then the wedding music started and I began walking down the isle too Bruce held my arm as he walked me down.

I was in a long white gown that puffed you like a princess dress. My hair was in the same updo like when me and wally first danced. I had my makeup all done by Megan and they were all walking just in front of me in short pink skater dresses. I had Megan, artemis, zatanna and Alex as my bridesmaids. Wally had dick and conner and kaldur and Roy as his groomsmen. Wally started shedding tears as I got closer to him.

This is my dream. My family.

That's all folks. This book has been so fun to write. My third book I have ever finished. It has taken years but I'm proud to say the quick witted one has been completed
