Marble

Three days. Three days since I've left this room. Dick has been bringing me Alex so I can see her but he won't let me be on my own with her and I understand. I need to leave and get some air.

Dick

I briefed the team on their mission. Once they headed off I saw Marble. She looked broken. Her eyes were red and puffy from crying and her hair was in a greasy pony tail. She was in black leggings and a baggy grey t-shirt. I watched her walk out the garage to the beach. She sat down and watched the waves. Her hands glowed a sweet blue and blue flames erupted from her hands and water downed the sand all the way to the sea. Her tears masked in the waves of blue flames.

"B03. Kid Flash." The computer called and I only saw red.

I ran at him and held him at the wall with my hand gripped around his neck.

"I warned you. You've broke her. After all she's been through you hurt her even worse! She can't even care for herself let alone her own child! You Monster!" I shouted at him. I held him even higher in the air.

"DICK! LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Marble screamed hoarsely. He throat dry from crying.

"It's not his fault." She said after I dropped him.

"NOT HIS FAULT!" I gasped.

"It's all me! Can't you see! I'm the problem! Everything that happens around me is wrong! I'm cursed! Alex deserves better! Wally deserves better..." She said as she broke down in tears.

I went to hug her and she pushed me away.

"Stop! I'll just give you my curse! I'm the one who's fault it is." She sobbed. She fell to her knees and just cried. That's when Wally burst into tears. I've never seen him in such a state.

"What is happening?" Artemis asked. All of the team were there. Watching.

"Right, Artemis, Wally and Marble stay. The rest of you, give us some privacy." I said and they all scampered away.

"I just want to hug you and explain it all but I can't!" Wally choked out.

"Nothing can make this right Wally! You cheated on me!" She screamed, her throat so dry only some letters seemed clear.

"HE WAS GONNA KILL YOU!" Wally shouted!

"I SAVED YOU! DON'T YOU SEE!" He shouted.

"No! You broke me. You shattered me like a glass." She said in tears.

"Hold up. Who was gonna kill Marble?" Artemis asked.

"If I tell you, he will hurt her. He has eyes everywhere."  He sobbed.

Marble was shivering. Her sobs were so quiet and her shivers very subtle but they were there.

"Listen to me now. Everyone needs to calm down. Marble is about to have a panic attack and Wally is in hysteria." I said as Marble choked out another sob.

"These two can't cope in the same room together. Artemis take Wally into the kitchen and I'll take Marble to councilling room." I said. I'll take them to the places they feel most comfortable.

We walked along with me holding Marble's hand. We got to the room and sat down.

"I can get Alex in here if you want?" I asked.

"Yes please." I called Megan to bring Alex in.

"Are you feeling any better?" I asked.

"No. I just don't know what to do. All I want is for it to stop but it can't. I can't make it stop Dick." She cried.

"Can't make what stop Marble?"

"The tears. They flow and flow until there is no liquid left. I shake and all I can think about is why? The girl was blonde, had chocolate eyes and she was so attractive. She was my opposite. Why date me of I'm not even his type?" She sobbed.

Why would he? He loves Marble and I know that. He doesn't like blondes and brown eyes. He hates brown eyes. Why did he throw it away? Why the opposite of Marble? Unless he was forced to.

"Marble, Wally loves you so much that he would hurt you to protect you." I said. I've finally worked it out.

"That doesn't make sense." She said.

"I've got Alex." Megan said coming in.

"Marble, take Alex and let's go see Wally. I think I know what's happened." I said and we started to walk. I could hear Wally's sobs already.

"Wally!" I said and he looked at me scared. I've never seen him like this and it's terrifying.

"The girl you slept with. Blonde hair and chocolate eyes. Not your type at all." I said.

"...." He was silent.

"Almost the opposite of Marble. I know you love her, why would you go so far from her?" I asked.

"Cause you were forced." Artemis said.

"Wait what?" Marble said.

"Joker wasn't it. He can't hurt Marble anymore. So he made you." Dick said and that's when Wally stopped sobbing.

"Marble. Take Alex and run. He has camera's around you! He's watching! He said if I didn't do it he would hurt you and Alex!" He screamed. That's when the room was invaded by many soldiers.

"Marble go!" I screamed.

Marble

He didn't hurt me. He loves me.

"MARBLE GO!" Wally screamed.

"Wally! Take Alex and go! I'll do this!" I said and he refused.

"Take her idiot!" I shouted and he sped her away.

I spread one hand out and protected Dick and Arty with a dome of red flames. I then screamed as blue flames erupted from my body. The soldiers drowning in blue flames. I was losing consciousness the more the flames came from my body.

Artemis

Marble collapsed. The soldiers were passed out from lack of oxygen and the dome of red flames fizzled away. Dick ran to her and checked her pulse.

"She's just exhausted." Dick sighed.

"Take her to her bed. I'll get Wally and Alex." I said calling Wally.

No answer.

I checked on the system for Dick's trackers he has on everyone. Of course.

Wally

"I love you so much Alex Baby." I whispered to her while I was holding her. She cooed in my arms.

"I might not get to see you anymore. But always know. I love you like your own baby. You are mine Alex. But I've hurt your mum. I don't deserve her Alex. Be kind to her for me honey. She loves you so much." I cried.

"Dada." She said. Her lips didn't move but I heard her say it.

"Did you say Dada?" I asked excitedly.

"Dada!" Again but she was not talking out loud.

"But only your parents can hear you. You think I'm your daddy!" I said and I heard a sniffle.

Artemis was behind me.

"Tell anyone I cried and I will drown you in the sea." She said.

"I want Marble back. So badly." I said hugging Alex.

"She is currently passed out so go see her. Wally, no matter what happens, remember that she can protect herself. She loves you but she is broken. You are her glue and she needs you." Artemis said and I nodded.

"She's my world." Alex then cooed.

"And you are my little moon." I said rocking her.
